*Mars' POV*
"Mars!" I looked up to see Adrianna and Delilah. I was sitting in a temporary cell. The police didn't know exactly what I did but they knew I was the driver so to wait for my punishment they put me here.
"Mars, I knew this would happen! Why did you get into this anyway! You need to stop!" Adrianna said holding onto the bars of the cell. I stood in front of her and laid my head on the bars.
"I'm sorry. I wasn't getting in trouble today. I was just walking around town and they found me." I sniffed. I felt Buddy's hand on my shoulder. They put him in here too.
"Mars is perfectly fine. I've been in this before. He won't stay long. He was only in two getaways. Plus he didn't do much. He'll be fine." Buddy reassured.
"Who is this?" Adrianna asked. "I'm Buddy. I was the person he was driving." Buddy said looking at his feet.
"Mars. Let's go." An officer called. He opened the cell to let me out. He led Adrianna, Delilah and I to an office. There he sat us down.
"Are you the guardian of Mars Neil?" The officer asked Adrianna. "Yes." Adrianna nodded. "Alright, we need to discuss this situation." The officer pulled out a file from the cabinet and set it on the table.
"We've taken mugshots and found personal records of his parents. Mars, were your parents in this too?" He asked me. I shook my head.
"No my parents passed away a while ago." The officer looked through the file. "Oh, okay. Why would you do this? Were you forced?" He asked.
"No. I wanted to get some things off my mind and I knew they would help me with that." I said. "What things and who's they?" He asked arching an eyebrow.
"I mean he. My friend. I was at a school party and something happened and I wanted to get it off my mind." I said. "So you help a criminal to get things off your mind? Who else was involved because there were three other people on the crime." He looked through the file again.
"I don't know the other people. That was the only time I had seen them." I lied. I wanted to get out of this but I made an oath to not give away The Pack.
"Are you associated with any gangs or shooters, Mars? Like The Pack?" He asked. "No. I only knew Buddy because we met at a store." I nodded.
That wasn't a lie. I did meet Buddy at a store. But that was only because my parents were working with him. A long time ago The Pack made up this story just in case we ever got caught. And I got caught.
"Okay Mars. I'll talk to the judge but until then you're on community service. You will be coming here every Sunday morning at 9:00 am and Officer Kerr will give you a task." The officer said. He put the file away and dismissed us.
"Are you mad?" I asked Adrianna as we got in the car. "Yes. Yes I am. You known better, Mars, from past experiences." Adrianna said putting her seat belt on.
"Are you gonna go to school tomorrow?" She asked. "Uh? I don't think so. I think I'll go to school with you." I said unsure how Bryan was feeling.
"Okay then." Adrianna sighed. She pulled out the parking lot and drove to the park.
