Hindi ako makatulog.

Natuwa ako kanina nung tumawag si Berna. Hindi dahil namiss ko siya, kundi dahil sa hindi nakalimutan ni Mica na sabihin ang bilin ko sa kanya. That definitely made me smile. Little things!

Yakap ko ang unan ko, hindi ko maiwasan na maisip yung mukha ni Mica nong hinalikan niya ako sa pisngi. Yung mukha niya before siya naglean to kiss me; yung mukha niya nung pagkatapos ng kiss; yung mukha niya bago siya lumabas ng pinto ko.

He didn’t want to leave. But he didn’t want to stay either. That face, that look.

                     

Nagising ako sa tawag sa cellphone ko.

“Nixs!!! Magonline ka bilis.” Si Len ang nasa phone.

“bakit, anong nangyari?”

“Basta. Bilis na!!”

Hinahanap ko kagad ang ipad ko, at nagbukas ng twitter.

“Ano dito?”

“Check my tweets. May ina-RT ako na article. Read it ha. I will call you later, pauwi pa lang ako.”

I check the time, it’s 9am. Natural, pauwi pa lang si Len galling work.

As instructed, nagcheck ako ng tweets niya.

“Bamboo Manalac is third party to Sarah-Matteo break-up?”

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTT?????

Nagmamadali akong nagclick ng link. Shit!! Is this for real?? Scared na trick lang to and excited dahil kung totoo, my god!! Ang ship ko is sailing on its own!!!

“Bamboo Manalac is alledgedly the third party to Sarah and Matteo’s break-up. Credible sources point out the statements of Matteo during his interview last night on ‘The View’”

May interview kagabi? Oh well, wala talagang magsasabi sa akin dahil wala naman akong pakielam sa lalakeng to.

Pero ngayon meron na.

“Matteo without being asked, blurts out that he and the Popstar Princess are no longer a couple. He adds that it’s been 3 weeks since they last talked, and that also explains why he was not present during the concert of Sarah and Bamboo last Friday at the Araneta Coliseum.

He explains that Sarah needs time to sort things out, and that he is willing to wait until she makes a decision. When asked what he means by ‘to sort things out’, he says that ‘She has to make sure…..of her feelings.” He says while controlling his emotions. When Boy asks, “her feelings for you?” he only gives a meaningful smile to Boy Abunda as his reply.

Matteo and Sarah dated for almost a year. It was not until 5 months ago that they admitted their relationship to the public. Prior to the rumors of the two dating, Sarah G had been linked several times to her fellow Coach, Bamboo Manalac, but they firmly denied that there were romantic angles to the friendship they share. “We are good friends. She is a fellow Coach. There is nothing…..no….there’s no truth to that,” Bamboo explained in one of his interviews a few months back. Sarah G, on one hand, assured her fans and supporters that she would never be involved to the Rock Superstar, and we quote her saying, “No. hindi po. He is very much committed. Wag naman po sana kaming ilink na dalawa. Nakakahiya po.”

However, speculations have been circulating on social media that Bamboo Manalac is the possible reason for the break-up. A reliable source even told us that Bamboo had been acting as Sarah’s confidante/crying shoulder the past months. The two have gotten closer since they started rehearsing for their concert which was finally staged last Friday.

“If they are not at all together, I have to say that he (Bamboo) is the closest to Sarah these days. We’ve seen them several times dining together (just the two of them) after rehearsals or even on no-rehearsal days.”

We tried to contact the managements of Sarah and Bamboo,  but no one was available as of this writing to answer our queries. Just the same, we are going to try our best to get both of their sides to this story.

Totoo ba to??

Biglang nagring ang cellphone ko. Sinagot ko nang hindi nakatingin.

“Ate Nix! Nabasa mo na ba ang article sa Philstar?” Si Meg.

“Yes. Grabe. Totoo ba?”

“Hindi ko din sure. Kakagising ko lang, tinawagan ako ni Ate Len. Haha”

“Eh ako din, si Len ang gumising sa akin.”

“Sige, ate. Tatanungin ko lang si Ate Karen.”

“Okay, tawagan mo ko ha. Detalyadong kwento ha.”

“Yes. Haha”

Hindi ko pa nalalapag ang phone, nagring na naman. As usual, hindi ko na naman nakita sa ID kung sino.

“Hello??”
“Hello, Goodmorning.”

Si Mica.

“Hi. Okay na phone mo?” What a silly question. Natawa tuloy siya.

“Yes. Nabuhay na.”

“Napatawag ka?”

“Ah yes, Berna told me na tawagan ka, andito siya sa tabi ko. Wala siyang load eh.”

Nadisappoint naman ako. So si Berna pala talaga ang nakaisip na tawagan ako.

“Ah okay, sige kausapin ko na.”

“Wait lang lumabas kasi ng kwarto.”

“Ganon? Tawag ka na lang ulit?”

“Anong tatawag ulit?” Si Berna na ang nagsasalita.

“Sabi kasi ni Mica nasa labas ka. Ano naaaaaaaaaaaaaa???” Pasigaw na tanong ko sa phone.

“Aray ko!! Ang sakit sa tenga! Pero ano na ngaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?????” Pasigaw na sagot din niya.

“So, totoo ba yun? Kakabasa ko lang.”

“Hindi ko alam. Kaya nga ako sayo nagpatawag kasi baka alam mo ang sagot sa tanong mo.”

“Eh kung alam ko sagot tatanungin ko ba? Wala kong alam. Pero si Meg tatawagan daw si Karen. Dapat pala kay Karen tayo lahat tumawag. Hahaha”

“Hindi na. Hintayin na lang natin si Meg, or better yet. Kita tayo sa ABS? Sa Gerry’s?? Watchatink?”

“Sinong kasama mo?” Bakit yun ang natanong ko?? Baka makahalata si Berna.

“Tatawagan ko si Len. Wala kong load, magpapaload pa lang ako. Pero mamaya ng hapon pag nakatulog na siya.” Sagot ni Berna. Buti na lang hindi niya naintindihan gaano ang question ko. Minsan talaga ang pagiging slow, helpful.

“Tawagan ko na siya ngayon, sabihin ko mamaya tayo magkikita sa ABS, Gerry’s Grill.”

“Pati si Meg, wag mong kalimutan.”

“Eh si Karen?”

“Kung pwede siya. Alam mo naman yun di pwede ang mga biglaang lakad.”

May katwiran naman si Berna. May asawa at anak kasi si Karen, at madalas nilang pagawayan ng mister niya ang paglabas labas niya dahil kina Bamboo at Sarah.

“Eh kesa naman iba ang atupagin ko diba? At least, dito paguwi ko inlove ako. Eh di ang asawa ko ang nagbebenefit non?” madalas na katwiran sa akin ni Karen noon.

“O sige, tatawagan ko na din si Karen.”

“Fine. O tama na to. May niluluto ako, baka di ako makaalis pag nagutom ang mga tao dito sa bahay.” 

“Haha sige…”
