Sarah Shares How Bamboo Proposes

It had been a pretty difficult job to have the Pop Princess, Sarah Gerenimo, interviewed lately. It shouldn't be surprising, though. She is now the other half of one of the most private celebrities in this country, Rock Superstar, Bamboo Manalac. 

So when we finally got the most wanted person right infront of us for an interview, we didn't waste any more time. We took advantage of that very rare opportunity. We didn't care if she was particularly asked by her husband to keep mum about private matters. We asked related questions, anyway. Luckily, she had answers for some of our questions we thought she wouldn't dare comment on. 

After the press conference presented by KakaoTalk Philippines, of which Sarah is the endorser, we had the privelege to have a tête-à-tête with the Popstar Royalty.  She's always been beautiful, but there was something different that afternoon with her. A good difference worth noting for. She looked happier, peaceful, and glowing for reasons we all already know of.  She looked it. She wore it. It was a face of a very much in love newly wed woman.

She received us in the exclusive press room prepared by Kakao with all smiles. She was very welcoming. We were very well taken care of that day. She made sure of that.

The first question we had for her, though, was not about the product she's endorsing. I don't think we came for that, to be honest. But nothing could spoil her happiness at that time, or ever. She took it with a smile. Besides, we managed to squeeze in a product-related query later on.

We asked her to comment on the allegations of an overlap with his relationships with Matteo and Bamboo. These assumptions stemmed from the dating rumors with the latter while she was still in a relationship with the former. Bamboo already denied it. But we wanted to hear what Sarah had to say too.

She was laughing before she started answering. "Hindi po kasi alam ng lahat na matagal na po kaming hiwalay ni Matteo. Hiwalay na kami ng ilang months nung nainterview siya ni Tito Boy Abunda. Hindi po ako nag-two time." Sarah said. "Malinis po ang konsiyensiya namin (ni Bamboo). Wala pong ganong nangyari." 

Sarah and Matteo dated for almost a year. They seemed very happy together, and very much in love. It was looking really good that many people thought they would end up tying the knot. We all know, it was the opposite that happened. They broke up. Thus as soon as it was reported, questions on what caused the relationship-turning-sour kept pouring in. 

"Hindi na po siguro importante yun dahil nakamove on na po kami pareho. Masaya na po ako. At sana po masaya din siya. (laughs). Nakakahiya din naman po kay Matteo. Irespeto na lang po natin na ganon talaga eh. Hindi kasi natin alam talaga kung anong future natin. We fall in love, and sometimes, fall out of love too. May kailangan matapos dahil may iba pong gustong mangyari si God. In our case, I was meant for someone else. I'm sure in God's time, he will find his match also." 

When asked if her relationship with Bamboo started as soon as hers with Matteo ended, "Hindi naman po agad agad. Pero sure po ako na tapos na ang dapat matapos, bago pa mangyari ang lahat. (laughs) We've known each other for two years. And....he's always been very special po sa akin. Lagi ko naman pong sinasabi dati na iba yung presence niya sa buhay ko. Akala ko simpleng duet duet lang. Tapos, wala na." She said while laughing in between her sentences. "Siguro kasi fan po ako eh. Tapos nung mas nakilala ko siya, nalaman ko na ang bait talaga. Sobrang faithful. Responsible. Very smart. Napakatinong tao. At ang guwapo po di ba? (laughs) Basta siguro nagstart na siya noon pa pero inisip namin na imposible. (laughs) Kaya tuloy kung ano ano ang nangyari. So when we had our second chance, we went for it. Wala naman pong masama dahil dalaga naman po ako, binata siya. Ganon po. (laughs) At mahirap na, baka wala nang 3rd chance."
