I screwed up.
Really bad.
Really really bad.
I'm such an idiot. I should have just told Katie I didn't even like Michelle I was just trying to get her to be my girlfriend.
But she ran away that night, and it all went downhill.
I tried to go after her, but her friends told me I'd done enough.
They were right.
When I learned about Katie's new goal, I meant to go talk to her.
But Michelle threatened me. She'd ruin Katie by telling her overprotective mother.
And so I stayed silent.
I missed her presence in my classes. I saw her in the hand to hand combat, and she was a natural. When I tried to speak to her Clarrise stopped me.
"You've done enough."
And like the fool I was, I gave up.
I sent Katie a birthday card, with a small symbol to remind her.
Nothing.
So I pranked her, thinking things would go back to the way they were.
Apparently she had learned a few new tricks.
Her glare was sharper, I was pretty sure she had taken lessons from Annabeth.
There's a reason I don't prank the Athena cabin anymore.
I was in the infirmary for two weeks.
I felt bad about it her hair, but she did look just as cute with short hair.
And so, playing my last card I told Michelle we were done.
She glared at me, but I didn't care. I was telling Katie the truth. Once and for all.
And me being me, I've decided to do it during the Winter dance. Or "Yule ball" as the Hectate and Athena cabins called it.
This was gonna be epic.
