I spent the next few days formulating my plan to destroy the Hermes cabin.

The Athena cabin was still irritated at the Stolls for the spider prank, so it was pretty easy to convince them to help us. I managed to get the Aphrodite Cabin on my side, with Lacy being my friend.

And me saying I'd let them give me a make-over after the game.

Of course the Nike cabin sided with Hermes, but since everybody was trying to constantly get revenge on the Hermes cabin, the Nemesis cabin joined us.

The Ares cabin refused to be on the same team as Athena's, so they were a lost cause.

We managed to get the Apollo team on our side, offering to do their chores for two weeks.

Dionysus sided with the blue team, and so did the Iris Cabin.

Hephaestus sided with us, making me feel pretty proud of our team.

Both the blue and red teams had equal players. All that mattered now was strategy, and my team had it in the bag.

I put on my armor, checking it all fit.

I then helped Miranda check hers, and in return she checked mine again.

"You sure you can do this Katie?"

"What are you talking about?"

"It's just that Travis is your boyfriend."

I hissed, "Fake boyfriend. And even if he was a real one, I would take any chance I have to crush him."

Miranda spun me around, declaring my armor perfect. She had a gleam in her eyes. "So you do wish he was a real one."

I glare at her, and march off to our flag's position where we were meeting to discuss the plan one more time.

"You didn't even deny it Katie!!!!" Miranda yelled at me.

Sometimes I wish she didn't know me so well.

I jump at a stick breaking, and spin around towards the sound.

A bunny hops out of the bushes, and I am immediately suspicious. Wild animals almost always avoid us. The chances of one coming when we are playing Capture the Flag? Almost 0.

"Miranda, keep your guard up."

She nods and we continue to protect our flag.

I try to ignore the bunny but...

It's just so cuuute!!

And even if it's just a distraction, it may be the only time I ever see one....
