Katie
"You know you can't forgive him for something like that, right?"
I sighed, "I know. But I want to. Was he genuinely sorry?"
"I couldn't tell, I was trying to stop you from killing all the plants and recreating Sleeping Beauty."
"Oh!" I took a deep breath, and I could feel the plants returning to normal all around me. I did however, keep up the ivy that stopped the door from opening. That was a downside of being a powerful child of Demeter. The plants are affected by your emotions if you don't keep yourself in check. And since Demeter is so connected to plants, it makes you feel guilty.
Miranda sighed. "I honestly don't know what to tell you. You have Lee, this great guy, but you don't like him. And then you have Travis, this guy who likes you but struggles to express it and embarrasses you publicly."
I nodded my head in agreement. "I really don't want to hurt Lee. I like him, but not in that way."
Miranda rubbed the bridge of her nose. "We also have the Titan war coming up, don't forget about that."
"Here is what I am going to do. I will not forgive Travis until- if he gives me a good enough reason too. We will continue to get prepared for the Titan war."
"You really are head over heels for him. Good luck."
Miranda then left, and I was left alone with my thoughts.

Travis
I paced back and forth on the beach. It was well past dark, and I hoped the harpies had better things to do right now.
"Would you forgive me, Connor?"
"For dumping mud on my head at party celebrating my mother in front of the whole camp? No."
"When you put it that way......"
"What way is there to put it that doesn't sound horrible?!?"
"I-I I don't know."
"Exactly. Stop trying to excuse yourself. Own up to it, then apologize."
"She'll never forgive me."
"You have to earn back her trust. I know Hermes' motto is everyone for themselves, but if you really love Katie Gardener, then prove it to her. Make her understand you are sorry. And try not to embarrass me further while you're at it."
