*starts bawling* Omgs guys this book is over.... finished. It seems so surreal. But I will write a sequel, called Chasing Katie. Anyways, enjoy!
Katie
"Travis, admit it. You don't know how to braid hair.""Shut up Katie. I'm telling you, I can do this."
"Just remember, I'll always judge you for this."
"Way to relieve the pressure." Travis grumbled.
We were in my favorite place, the strawberry fields. Travis was sitting behind me, cross-legged, braiding my hair. Or at least trying to. I don't even remember why his braiding skills were being questioned, but he said he could do it.
So that's why I've been sitting here for the last half hour while Travis did and redid my hair, insisting just "one more time!"
"Alright, I'm finally done!" He exclaimed.
I smiled at him, entwining our fingers together. "Thank the gods."
He frowned childishly. "It wasn't that bad."
I gave him a disbelieving look. "Sure, whatever you say."
But he answers that with a kiss, and I forgot about what we were talking about.
I lean my forehead against his, smiling like a dope.
"I love you." He whispers.
"I'll always love you." I promise.
And I always keep my promises.
