Hopefully a Really Long Chapter - Katie

I crept out and walked back to the cabin, my heart pounding in my chest.

I wanted to tell Travis that I loved him, that I hated him, that he needed to leave me alone.

I needed to stick to my goals.

Dating Travis would only make it more difficult.

That is, if he even liked me.

How sick would that be? I fall for him, and this is all a prank. Like usual.

I open the door to our cabin, which is surprisingly empty. Shrugging, I sit down on my bed and put on some music to sleep to.

"Katie."

"Katie!"

I grumble and turn over, sure that whoever is shaking me will stop if I move a wee bit.

"KATIE!!" I jerk up, hitting my head on the upper bunk and grumbling. Whoever just woke me up had better have a good reason or they could explain to Chiron why they were missing a "few" fingers.

To my surprise, it's Lacy who's shaking me.

She's lucky I like her.

"Katie, there's some lunatic asking for you in the pavilion."

I roll my eyes, positive I knew who she was talking about.

"Oh, and look in the mirror on your way out." Lacy ran out of the cabin.

I muttered something about Aphrodite's kids being a pain in the ass.

But I did look in the mirror. I thought that someone had used my face as a piece of paper again, but sadly, it was worse.

Was it too much to ask to look ugly for once? I was starting to get sick of my reflection.

But I headed outside anyways, ready to commit- I mean, prevent a homocide.

To my surprise, a band was outside. I was even more shocked to realize that Travis was fidgeting by the microphone.
(A/N I just realized that the word micro phone should mean a tiny phone)

He saw me and his face lit up, making me feel very uncomfortable.

He motioned to his band, and they began to play.

I recognized the song immediately.

I thought Travis would have the voice of an angel, being very cliche.

He massacred one of my favorite songs.

I swear everyone started covering their ears.

I couldn't though. My hands were clasped over my mouth in shock.

To be fair, he had the beat right.

His singing voice was just like...
A dying pig.

But when he finished, I applauded like Beyoncé had just performed.

Then I raised an eyebrow. "Getting a little cocky? 'Don't say you didn't love me back cause you know you did'?"

He blushed and looked at his feet. "Well I- You see- I didn't-"

I interrupted him with a running hug.

Right in his ear, I whispered, "That's the sweetest thing anyone's ever done for me."

I pulled back, and looked at his bright red face. "But I'm not the kind of girl to forgive you just because you sang a song."

He visibly drooped.

I smiled. This was to much fun.

"But I'll forgive you anyways."

I guess he thought that was an invitation to kiss me.

I'll let it slide, just this once.

He pressed his lips to mine, and it was like a drug. I couldn't get enough. I ran my hands through his hair, as if he was leaving tomorrow. We probably would have kept kissing until one of us suffocated, but the my dearly beloved sister yelled, "Ewwwww PDA!! There's kids here!"

When I pulled away, grinning like an idiot, I noticed we had drawn a crowd. Some kids were grinning, others were shaking their heads, and some were rolling their eyes and saying "Finally."

But I didn't care. It had taken a while, but Travis was mine.

Ahhhhhhh last chapter!!! Then epilogue!!!!! I promise that I will write a sequel almost immediately after!!! I'm so sad and happy!!! I'm just so excited!
