Dedicated to: @AlexisTheWinterMage thanks for the Caps lol! Here's that update :)

Also dedicated to @rockupletitlockup who was voting on The Devil's Claim while I was writing this little note.

I know I was supposed to update like a week ago, but I kind of fucked up my laptop again because I'm definitely the smartest person ever (sarcasm), and also I was moving into my new place (I'm university material now guys).

Also, ok so you know how most writers have a nickname for their readers? I think I'm gonna call you all my kitties because I love kitties and they're adorable but sassy. Any suggestions for a better nick name? Comment!

Also, random question: which out of these would you KITTIES (see what I did there) like to read about first?

Option 1: The masked man

Option 2: The council

Option 3: The disappearance of Ariel

They're all connected I'm just not sure of which order to revel these things in. Don't hate me please. Vote, Comment, Share, love me! Also them Wattys eh?

ALSO: so I got twitter recently. If you are a reader who would like to follow me then please feel free, at CaptNandrews. I will be using the Tweeting (is that what them young kids say?) more often. I will add teasers for upcoming chapters, character secrets and info, as well as I would actually really love some good fan art. AND maybe a contest is soon on its way? Who knows I currently have 2 followers because I suck and am hoping for at least 50? I promise you won't regret it! Now, here's that update!

P.S. do you guys enjoy the dedications? Let me know!

Chapter 13| Five months to save a human.

"I've assigned them a guest room and given them a change of clean clothes," Kit said.

She turned to walk out of the office and I kept my gaxe on the floor. I did feel guilty about how shitty I had treated her but I was too much of a coward to face her now.

I jumped as the door swung open again, hitting the walll. Lucifer watched me with a scowl and narrowed eyes. He still wore the shirt that the vampire ripped.

"I don't like it," he grumbled and I snickered at his childlike attitude.

"They're here for a reason, you don't have to like it you just have to accept what is," my voices sounded wise causing me to silently high five myself. I was starting to sound like an oracle and I did not mind one bit.

"Cloud, we have a rotting angel out there, a murdering bitch, a council whom already doesn't approve of you, a half dead angel, an evil Cronas an entire demon empire to run while many of that empire despises me at the moment for my choice of bride. Our plates are so full we are getting in over our head," he snapped.

I couldn't help to flinch at his words. Eyes were casted down at the office's floor and I kept my gaze on a pin that rested just near the bottom of the bookcase. Surely that was a safety hazard. I could hear him sigh, then walk over his boots stopping in front of me. I didn't dare look up.

"My angel I'm just worried," he whispered pulling me into a hug.

My arms automatically wrapped around him and I burrowed my head into his chest. It did occur to me through his little snap not once did I actually reply. I giggled lightly at that.

"What's so funny?" he demanded with a smile. I shook my head and looked up at him. His lips were so perfectly plum today and all kissable. So I did. Reaching up on my tippy toes and keeping myself balanced with those arms I had wrapped around him I met his lips with mine. A long, deep kiss. It seemed to go on forever, another one of our just perfect little moments that would forever live on in our memories. I truly did love this demon, however I also knew we did have a plate of issues to sort out. Unsurprisingly he groaned when I finally pulled away.
