If you had my love
And I gave you all my trust
Would you comfort me?
And if somehow you knew
That your love would be untrue
Would you lie to me?
If you had my love
And I gave you all my trust

"I didn't know what I was going to do but I was going to be okay."
Melody
"Bitch move!" I looked to my left and rolled my eyes, moving out of her way as she hurriedly walked away. "No to you honey, it's excuse me," I spoke. She turned around and flipped me off but I waved her off not paying any mind.
I was trying to board my plane to Atlanta but I was lost in the airport trying to find my way. I hadn't been on an airplane before since I had been in Louisiana all my life with my mother and aunt. I was a down south chick and normally if we we ever went anywhere we were driving because my mother could not stand the thought of getting on airplane. I looked down at my pass and frowned looking around the airport. "Ma'am do you need help?" I looked up to see an attendant walking my way and I smiled. Thank God.
Once I made it to Atlanta, I couldn't stop looking out of the window of my uber. It was honestly beautiful and large. They had everything which made me happy, since I had never been to Atlanta. I was new and I was ready to dive in to the world. I already had a job interview set up at the hospital which made me happy, and I had already booked my hotel for the next two month. I walked into the Inn with a smile on my face and my suitcase in my hands. I walked to the receptionist desk. "Hi how are you?"
I smiled. "I'm fine. My name is Melody Farris. I was trying to get my room key," I spoke. She nodded at me, before typing on her computer and handing me my key. "You'll have to take the elevator and once you get off of the elevator, make a left, and then you should be able to find your room. If you need any help just call us from your room."
I smiled. "Okay thank you Marissa," I spoke reading her name tag. "No problem," she spoke. "And welcome to Atlanta."
Making it to my room, I laid across my bed and snuggled up to the white pillow in front of me. I propped my IPhone up against my other pillow and dialed my mothers number. She picked up on the first ring making me smile. Her face popped up and I smiled. "Hey momma!"
"Hey baby! I was waiting for your call? How are you? Are you nervous? Do you need more money? Is anyone bothering you down there?" I rolled my eyes. Here she goes. My mother treated me like a baby, when I was 22 years old. I loved my mother but she was very overprotective of me when there was no need to be. And I just wanted her to understand that I was an adult and I need to learn how to move in my life without her.
"No mama. I'm fine. How are you though?" I asked. She smiled, and I thought of how pretty my mama was. If it took after anybody more, it would be my father, but I also had some of my moms feautures. My mother was light bright, with blemish free skin. She had black and highlighted blonde hair that reached her shoulders. My mother was skinny and medium height standing at 5'6. She was beautiful.
