Rocky Emerson

"Ryder!"

Glancing back, I gave her a look. "I meant Rocky."

"What?" She put her arms around my waist while standing behind me as I shaved my face. "I don't see the big deal in me calling you Ryder."

I gave her a look, and she rolled her eyes and nuzzled my neck. I groaned. "What do you need?"

She frowned. "Nothing. I just wanted to come in here and see you. Why do you have an attitude?"

I shook my head. I wiped my face off and turned around. I kissed her cheek. "I don't. It's just early in the morning and you know how I am in the morning, Aniya."

She smiled slightly. "Yeah Okay." I walked off back into my room before heading to the kitchen. And of course she followed behind me. "So are we still going to dinner tonight?"

I nodded my head. "Yeah we still on. I have to handle this morning with my company and I have a couple of business meetings but we're still on. 9?"

"That's a little late don't you think. What about 7 or 8 babe?" I shrugged my shoulders and she smiled. "Eight it is then." She pecked my lips. And I allowed her too. Aniya and I had been seeing each other for about a couple of months now. I had met her leaving out of the hotel my mother owned and we started talking. She wasn't as bad m, but she could annoy the fuck out of me, but other than that she was good company. And I liked her too.

"Where the food at?" I asked.

"I didn't have time babe. I have to go to dinner with my mom since she just came into town. I'll see you later though," she spoke and just then I noticed that she had clothes on and I wasn't going to lie and say she didn't look good.

Before she could go, I grabbed her arm and kissed her lips. I looked her up and down. "You look good. Now where exactly are you going?"

She laughed. "Just to breakfast with my mom. And then I'm going to find me something to wear for dinner. Thank you though babe."

I watched her walk off and out of the door and I glanced at the door watching it close. I got me a drink out of the refrigerator and a banana before heading to my couch and putting my foot up. I looked down at my phone to see it was ringing and smiled once I saw who was calling. It was a FaceTime called and I picked up. "Daddy!"

I smiled at my two year old daughter putting my phone up so she could see my face better. "What's up princess?"

"Daddy, miss you."

I smiled. "I miss you too, mamas."

She pouted, "over," she waved her hand and I watched her face as she started crying. "On my way, let me talk to Mama."
