"We broke up."
I was snot nose crying and I couldn't help it because my heart had just been broken into a million of pieces. I loved Rocky, I did, but I was thinking maybe I made the wrong decision telling him that I couldn't be there for the baby. Tasha smiled weakly at me, and rubbed her hand down my cheek. "Everything's going to be okay. You're gonna get through this."
"Maybe I made, made a mistake," I cried.
She shook her head. "If you feel that way. If you feel like you can get through this with him, because I know you can than you go get him back."
I thought about it again and shook my head. We were back home and I was at my apartment laying in my bed not knowing what I was going to do with my life without Rocky by my side. Tasha laid next to me as I told her everything that she didn't know and I cried. "It's too late. I broke him. I told him I couldn't be there for his child. What was I thinking?"
She hugged me. And I just sat there crying in her arms while she consoled me. I didn't know what I was going to do, but I knew I had to move on with my life just like Rocky would.
Treasure Pierce
I had on my Nike long sleeve spandex shirt, Nike tights, and my black Huaraches. I had taken the frontal down that I had had, and wore my hair at my shoulders since I was trying to wear my hair more. I blew the horn once I had pulled up.
She wore a a three color dress with blocks, a pair of brown combat boots with her blonde hair straightened and laying on her back. She got in the passenger seat. "Hey sister. Gym?"
"Yeah I just left. You ready for this?" I asked and I looked over at her to see she was rolling her eyes. "You keep bothering me about it so I guess I am. I'm kind of just over being mad about it. She can't help the fact that she was brought into this world so I'm just keeping an open mind."
"Good. You ready for Saturday?" I asked her and her face lit up with a smile. It was going to be her 21st birthday and I was going all out for her. I had even rented out the club so that we could turn the fuck up, especially since she could now drink. "I'm more than ready. I'm just waiting to see what you got planned."
"You'll just have to wait till you get there, boo. You been talking to anybody new?" Her face automatically dropped and she shook her head. "Nope. Nobody."
I knew she was lying but I didn't even bother her about it because if she didn't want to talk about it. I wasn't going to make her. "You remember that shit I told you about Tasha?"
She nodded her head. "Yeah we never finished talking about that. I think that the both of you had a point. Looking at it, I could see her feeling like you weren't being supportive because you told me you praised the ring and then not even fifteen minutes later you asking her is she sure about it. However, I can also say that you were doing the right thing because let's face it she ain't nothing but twenty two years old and that is young and they been through a lot like you told me so I think it was a good thing that you asked her was she sure. But if I were you I would just leave the situation alone and let it work it self out."
I took in her words and continued to drink just thinking about everything. We finally made it to Waffle House, and I parked texting Melody.
