My bad life turned good

Chapter fifteen:

The next morning when I opened my eyes, the sun shone into my eyes. I looked around my hospital room, I saw Daniel, Stephen and Steve each sitting in chairs that were in the room.

"Good morning sleeping beauty," Steve said.

"Good morning guys," I said.

"How did you sleep?" Daniel asked.

"Pretty good," I said.

"That's good," he said.

"Are you hungry?" Stephen asked.

"Um Stephen even if I was hungry I can't eat," I said.

"Why's that?" He asked.

"I have my blood tests this morning and I can only drink apple juice about an hour before they start the tests," I said.

"Right, well I'll wait until you're getting your tests done and then I'll eat something," he said.

"Okay," I said.

"Should I go and find the nurse and let her know that you would like some apple juice before your testing starts?" Steve asked.

"Yes please," I said.

"Okay, I'll be back in about five," he said.

"Okay I'll be waiting," I said.

"I should hope so," he said.

"Don't worry about it, I can't really go anywhere in this hospital until I'm better and I'm able to go home," I said.

"Alright." He said. He left the room to go and find the nurse that way he could ask her if I could get some apple juice before my testing started. Steve came back about five minutes later with a small glass of apple juice.

"Thanks Steve," I said.

"You're welcome," he said.

"Did she say what time the testing starts at for me?" I asked.

"Yes she told me to tell you that your testing starts at about eleven," he said.

"Okay so that's about an hour away," I said.

"Yes it's about an hour away, she also told me to let you know that after the testing is done your arms will be really sore and also she said that your sides will be sore as well because it's a hard bed, and you're on your side for most of the testing," he said.

"Oh okay," I said.

"Wait they're making her lay on her side?" Daniel asked.

"Yes Daniel they are," Steve said.

"How long is the testing going to be going on for?" Stephen asked.

"She said that for everyone the testing is different because they have to find the right spot to put the needle in and sometimes it doesn't go in right away and takes about a half hour to find the right spot," Steve said.

"Yep now I'm even more nervous then I was last night about this whole thing," I said.

"Abby don't be nervous, you'll be fine," Steve said.

"I know that I'll be fine, but I'm still nervous now that I know that it could take a while to get the needle in the right way," I said.

"Don't lose hope Abby we'll be here for you and maybe if one of us asks nicely they'll let one of us stay by your side when you're getting the tests done." Daniel said. This is the main reason why I love Daniel and Stephen and why I'm so glad to have a guy like Steve in my life, they always know what to say and when to say it and it's always at the right time, they even know how to make me laugh and forget about the bad things that have happened in my life over the past six months.
