Chapter forty three:

*Stephen's p.o.v.*

"Do you guys think that Abby is feeling any better?" I asked.

"I'm not sure, it doesn't look like it at all," Emma said.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Look over there," she said, looking over at where Abby was sitting next to Camm.

"This really has ruined her," Rebecca said.

"Yes it has," I said, than added on, "I think I'm gonna send a text to Steve,"

"Okay that's actually not a bad idea," Emma said.

"Okay I'll do that right now," I said.

"Okay." She said. Her and the girls walked away to go and sit somewhere else. I took out my phone and sent a text to Steve.

~hey man, hope you're doing better, and Abby is ruined by all of this ~ me

~hey, I'm feeling better than I was when I first got here. What do you mean that Abby is ruined by all of this? ~ Steve

~I mean that she's blaming herself for you bring in the hospital, she keeps saying that it's her fault that you got hit by the car, she really misses you ~me

~it's not her fault it's the person who was driving that car that hit me it's their fault, I miss her too. Who's she going to for comfort? You or Daniel or someone else? ~Steve

~she hasn't been coming to me or Daniel for comfort, she hasn't even gone to Emma or Hanna or Rebecca or Amy for comfort ~ me

~okay so who's see been going to for comfort? ~ Steve

~she has been going to Camm for comfort because he knows how to comfort her better than any of the rest of us can right now ~me

~okay. Well I'm gonna go to sleep now, tell Abby I miss her and I love her and I'll see you all tomorrow ~Steve

~okay goodnight. I'll be sure to tell her. We'll see you tomorrow morning ~me

~okay. Tell everyone that I said goodnight and can't wait to see you all tomorrow as well ~Steve

~okay I'll tell everyone. Good night ~me

I turned off my phone and put it back on the table beside the couch. I than got up and walked to the centre of the room. I decided that now is a good time to tell them what Steve wants me to tell them.

"Abby, Steve told me to tell you that he misses you, that he loves you, that he can't wait to see you tomorrow and also he says goodnight," I said.

"Okay that makes me feel a bit better," she said, she smiled, but I knew that she was faking her smile because I can just tell and also she would rather hear all of things from Steve himself.

"Moving on, he also told me to tell everyone else that he says goodnight and can't wait to see you guys all tomorrow either," I said.

"Did you tell him that we all miss him a lot as well?" Hanna asked.

"Yes I told him that and that was why he said that he misses all of us and can't wait to see us tomorrow, but mostly he misses Abby," I said.

"Well that's obvious, seeing as Abby is his girlfriend," Pat said.

"I also told him that Abby was going to Camm for comfort," I said. Camm perked up at this and looked up from his hands that he was starring at, I will never understand why he does that, but that's okay.

"Really," he said, then asked, "what did he say?"

"He said that that was okay with him, I read into that as his way of saying that he's glad that Abby has found someone to comfort her and make her feel a bit better about what has happened today," I said.
