Chapter twenty:

I woke up from my nap just in time to eat dinner with the family including Emma, Steve, Kyle and Dan. I'll admit that my dinner was different from everyone else's because of my cancer. My parents made me soft tacos, without the meat because for some strange reason I don't like having meat on my tacos, which was weird. They also made me some juice. The rest of my family including Emma, Kyle and Dan all had pizza.

"If it'll make you feel any better, I'll eat tacos with you," Kyle said.

"But pizza's your favourite food," I said.

"It is, but I don't want you to eat tacos by yourself," he said.

"But there's no meat in them Kyle," I said.

"Really?" He asked.

"Yea, I'm kinda strange when it comes to tacos," I said.

"I wouldn't mind trying tacos with no meat," he said.

"Okay, but I make no promises that you'll like them," I said.

"That is why I'll try them and see," he said.

"I think I'll try them as well," Steve said.

"Me too," Emma said.

"We'll try them as well," Dan, Stephen and Daniel said.

"I guess you seven will be having meatless tacos tonight," my mom said.

"Yes we will be having meatless tacos," Stephen said.

"Okay." She said. I had to admit that it was nice to know that Kyle gave up having his favourite food just to have meatless tacos and the rest of the guys along with Emma also decided to try the tacos with me.

"These are amazing," Steve said.

"You really think so?" I asked.

"Yes I really do," he said.

"Well I'm glad that you like them," I said.

"Actually I love them." He said. For the rest of dinner no one spoke another word, we all just sat there eating our tacos and drinking some juice as well. They were really good tacos, I would eat them everyday if I could, but I know that I can't because I soon have to start eating harder food, when I feel like I can handle it. After dinner we all went downstairs to the basement.

"Let's watch a movie," Stephen suggested.

"Or we could play a game," Kyle said.

"Or have a little party," Dan suggested.

"And who would we invite?" I asked.

"I could see if the twins could come," he said.

"Hanna and Rebecca?" Daniel asked.

"Yes," Dan said.

"Okay," Stephen said.

"I'll text them." Dan said. About ten minutes after Dan had sent the twins a text, there was a knock on the front door. Daniel went upstairs and answered the door, about two minutes later he came back downstairs with two twins behind him.

"Hanna and Rebecca I would like to introduce you to my younger sister named Abby," I said.

"Hey Abby," they said.

"Hey Hanna and Rebecca," she said.

"It's very nice to meet you," they said.

"It's nice to meet you guys as well," she said.

"I have a question if you don't mind," Hanna said.

"I don't mind at all," Abby said.

"I was kind of wondering why you don't look like a Richter," she said.

"I was adopted by them about two weeks ago," she said.

"That is so cool, I've never met anyone who's been adopted into a family of someone who I'm close to," Hanna said.

"Really?" Abby asked.

"Yes." Hanna said. I'm hoping that Abby, Hanna and Rebecca get along really good. I just hope that they become close friends just like her and Emma. Hanna and Rebecca could only stay for a few hours, because they had to go home and help their parents out with something. Before they left they each have Abby a small hug and then they left the house to go home.

After they left we quickly cleaned up the basement, which wasn't all that bad. After we were done cleaning up, Kyle, Dan, Emma and Steve had to go home that way they could get a decent night sleep and be ready for school the next morning.
