Chapter fifty four:

*Abby's p.o.v. ~ last day *

The past few months or shall I say the past year has been amazing. It's been the best. Tonight is the last show and than tomorrow morning we are on the road to go home. I honestly can't wait to sleep in my own bed, it's been a while and it'll be nice.

"Are you guys ready for your last show?" I asked as we were driving to the venue.

"Yeah we're ready but it's going to be sad that it's our last show on this tour, but it will be nice to be able to go home and sleep in our own beds," Kyle said.

"Well look on the bright side, this tour went amazing and in no time you guys will be on another tour and also you guys have tons of shows planed for the summer," I said.

"True we do." Dan said. I'm really happy that this tour went so good. I hope that I get to go on tour with them when they go on tour again. We got to the venue and walked inside.

*later on before the show~ 8:45*

"Does my tail look centred?" Camm asked standing in the middle of the room.

"Yes it is, you're good to go," I said.

"Eleven past one you're on in fifteen minutes," someone said knocking on the door.

"Okay," they said.

"Down with webster you guys have an hour and ten minutes before you're on," the same person said.

"Okay." they said. It was nine and eleven past one were walking onto the stage. The girls and I walked into the audience and sat down in the front row.

"Hey are you Abby Richter?" The girl sitting to the right of me asked.

"Yes that's me," I said.

"You're dating Steve right?" She asked.

"Yes I am," I said.

"Gosh you're really pretty and really lucky," she said.

"Thanks sweetie but you're also pretty," I said.

"No I'm not," she said.

"Yes you are, don't let anyone tell you that you're not pretty because you are just ignore the people who tell you that you're not pretty," I said.

"Thanks," she said.

"You're welcome." I said. The rest of the show went by and it was really good like always. At about ten ten down with webster took the stage. They played a lot of their songs, some old, others were newer songs, like they did at the other shows. Anyways after they were down we walked backstage again. They grabbed their things and than we went out the back way and into the rv.

*the next day*

The next morning I woke up and grabbed my bag from beside my bed. I had a lot of things to pack. I walked into the family room with my bags.

"Four suitcases?" Camm asked.

"Yes, one for shoes and makeup, one for dresses and other fancy outfits, one for things that I bought and one for pictures, my camera, my chargers, some magazines, blankets, pillow and some books," I said.

"Yeah you're just like my younger sister named Annie," he said.

"Well us girls tend to overpack for trips," I said.

"Yes well mostly you and Annie." he said. Than Hanna, Amy, Rebecca and Emma came out of their room. They each had two suitcases.

"Well we're all set to go now," Hanna said.

"I'd say we are," Rebecca said.

"Abby," Steve said.

"Steve," I said.

"I'm really glad that I got to spend the past year together," he said.

"I'm really happy about that as well," I said.

"Can we hang out tomorrow afternoon?" He asked.

"Yeah I'm pretty sure that I'll be around home tomorrow," I said.

"Awesome." He said. On the way home I sat down on Steve's lap and he wrapped his arms around me and held me close the whole time, I was really comfy right now and happy that I was being held by my boyfriend. I love it when Steve holds me this close and I just love him a lot he means a lot to me and I know that I mean a lot to him. We got back to Canada at around two in the afternoon. We still have about four or five hours until we get home. Sometime during the ride home I fell asleep in Steve's arms. He kissed the top of my head, and than wrapped his arms around me tighter and held me closer. I just loved this feeling, I have always felt safe in his arms. He always knew what to say and how to comfort me when I need to be comforted.

"Abby wake up," Steve said.

"Huh?" I asked.

"We're back in Bowmanville," he said.

"Where?" I asked.

"We're in front of your house," he said.

"Will you help me with my things?" I asked.

"Of course I will," he said.

"Thank you," I said.

"You're welcome." He said. We walked into the house and took my things upstairs. He helped me unpack my things and I was settled in, it was about seven when he left to go back home. I went back downstairs and sat down at the table with my parents and my brothers.

"Oh Abby here's your letter from York," my mom said as she handed me the letter.

"Thanks," I said as I opened it.

"You're welcome, read it out loud so we can all hear what it says," she said.

"Okay." I said. I started to unfold it and looked at the top of the letter.

"Dear miss Abigail Richter,

We are pleased to tell you that you have been accepted into our dance program here at York. We watched your audition tape and fell in love with the way that you can get lost in the music while you're dancing, we believe that you have an amazing talent and that we need that kind of talent here at York university, you're marks that you applied with were outstanding and you're teachers comments were really positive and we couldn't be more happy to welcome you to York this coming fall. Inside you will find information about your courses for your first year, dorm information and other information that you may feel you need to know in order to do good during your first year of university. We look forward to seeing you at York in the fall.

From Amanda Bennett (head of York university)" I read out loud.

"Awesome congrats sis," Stephen said as he hugged me.

"Thanks bro," I said hugging him back.

"You're welcome." He said. The rest of my family said congrats to me and they were really happy for me. I mean I'm really happy that I got in, I mean this is my dream school and now I get to go to it, this next school year will be the best school year of my life and I'm so ready for it.
