Sorry that I have been absent... I have some things going on and I posted on my wall a message explaining my absence both in this story and on my others in the following month, but since I know that not many of you actually read it, I will post the message I posted here below so you guys can stay updated:

Lara's POV:
"No!" Shawn replies more than quickly, and everyone stares at him due to his overly desperate answer. My nerves were suddenly substituted by confusion, my brain not being able to connect the dots to what was going on. Shawn now seems more embarrassed than he was already, and he cleans his throat, trying to compose himself. "I-I mean, no, there's nothing wrong. Yeah...Nothing wrong. Happy birthday!" He adds in quickly.
As a silence follows Shawn's words and a look of embarrassment and nerves continues present all over his face, I look around towards Tom, Harrison, and even Ian, and now I could completely say that I wasn't nervous anymore. I was confused and slightly embarrassed instead.
