Lara's POV:
That day when we got home, Tom left the house alone for the very first time since what happened to Tessa. I was barely aware of it, as he simply ordered me into the shower, and by the time I was done, Tom was back. And on the table were dozens of choices of ice-cream. We then spent the whole afternoon stuffing ourselves with ice-cream, and binge-watching all of my favourite Disney movies. Tom really knew how to make me feel better.
For the next few days, we never really left the house, unless it was completely necessary, or to go to the gym. We spent our time playing cards, watching tv shows and movies. We even played Just Dance on the Wii at some point.
It's Wednesday afternoon, and today Tom and I are marathoning Harry Potter, because why not. I'm sitting in front of him cross-legged on the sofa, and Tom is right behind me, attempting to make a braid on my hair. We're in the middle of the second movie when I hear the front door being unlocked. I quickly figure it is Harrison, as he too has a key to Tom's house. We all exchanged keys, just in case.
In no time Haz is thundering into the living room and complaining about something, but neither Tom or I are fazed. I'm too entertained by the movie and Tom is too focused on my hair, and so neither of us pays attention to what Harrison said.
"Aren't you guys going to answer?"
The scene changing, I finally shift my focus to Haz. "I'm sorry, what?"
He sighs impatiently, and walks in front of the tv and blocks our view, just to make sure our focus was with him. I scrunch my face up in an annoyed frown, but he ignores.
"You have been cooped up here for way too long. You need to leave! Go to the mall! Go golfing! Anything!"
"Harrison, we're fine as we are, watching Harry Potter," Tom answers for both of us, continuing meddling with my hair. I avoid nodding because of that.
"I agree. We're just fine Haz, no need to worry about us. But thank you!" With that, I try to look back at the TV, but Harrison hasn't moved out of the way yet.
"Tom, your birthday is next week, you should be celebrating, not moping!"
"I'm not moping. At least not right now," He says. "And I can celebrate here in my house thank you very much."
"So you're doing a party?" Harrison wonders, his tone uplifting with hope.
"If you, me and Lara binging Spider-man movies is considered a party to you, then, sure thing, we are partying."
I chuckle a little at Harrison's exasperation, and he sighs impatiently once again. "Please, guys. Just try at least once. Do you want to watch movies? Let's go to the cinema. Deadpool 2 is out, let's watch that! If by the end you would have rather stayed home, I'll..." He pauses, thinking about something. "I'll buy you Pringles. And chocolate."
