Alyssa's P.O.V
"Alyssa!" Ivan yelled.
"What?" I equally yelled back.
"I need a ride to the park!" he returned, jogging down the stairs to meet me in the living room.
"Sorry, I can't." I walked past him heading towards the kitchen.
He came to stand directly in my front, his arms akimbo, frowning. "Why not? You said you were going there today."
"True. But I didn't say how I was going to get there. Now move, you're ruining breakfast for me." He sighed and moved following me closely behind.
"Is this 'cos I declined your last ride offer? I was mad, you can't blame me for that!" he argued.
Not this again.
I reached into the top cupboard and got out a box of cheerios, along with milk and sugar. Then I pushed past him, walking to the dinning area.
"Ivan, that was a long time ago." I sighed in exasperation.
"Then why won't you take me?" he whined.
I sat down with my bowl and spoon and began mixing my cereal. "Cameron's taking me."
"Can't I follow you guys?" he pressed.
Follow? No way in hell. This date is supposed to be me and Cameron's alone time. Ivan is not in the equation and I'm not about to let him in.
I shook my head, spooning cereal into my mouth. "That's not a good idea."
"How is it not?"
My phone beeped.
Williams: Almost there. You set?
Holy crap...
I grabbed my bowl with both hands and chugged down the rest of my cheerios.
Thank God I already showered .
"What's wrong?" asked Ivan. I ignored him by pushing him out of my way and racing up the stairs into my room to get my things and get fully prepared.
Let me just say tying boots while trying to fix your hair is not possible guys.
Fact.
I eventually tied my boots first, before braiding my hair into a french braid, applying lip balm and spraying some perfume on.
My phone beeped once more.
Williams: Driving in.
Satisfied with my look, I exited my room and went back down the stairs only to meet Cameron and Ivan talking.
Immediately, Ivan ran past me up the stairs yelling for us to wait.
"Why is he telling us that?" I asked, hoping he wasn't about to say what I was already thinking.
"Hey Alyssa." he greeted, ignoring my question.
"Hi." I responded sharply before continuing. "Now why are we waiting for Ivan?"
He shrugged. "He asked me to give him a ride to the park and I agreed because that's where we're going."
I mentally face palmed myself.
"Okay I'm ready!" yelled Ivan running back in with his basketball.
"Iv, can I talk to you for a minute?" I asked, dragging him by the collar into the kitchen.
"Careful, you're wrinkling my shirt." he complained smoothing himself out. I rolled my eyes and waited for him to finish.
"Are you done? Now tell me why you asked Cameron for a ride when I specifically told you how bad of an idea it was." I inquired folding my arm.
