°ALL MINE

Not even a day when his friends had bombarded his phone with messages. He was too lazy to answer of course. But he regretted once he reach their class. They dragged him all the way to the rooftop and eagerly asked him questions.

"Is she pretty?"

"Is she hot?"

"Why didn't you answer my messages?"

"He's all grown up, mah boy."

"Would you all calm down?" Jungkook said in irritation. "It's nothing special, I'm just engaged. I don't really care."

"Who is she then?" Bambam asked.

"You better not lie!" Mingyu said.

"Why the hell would i lie? I said I don't care," Jungkook said, still irritated. "We'll all reach the time where we get engaged. It's just that Bambam was betrothed before any of us."

"You need to chill," Yugyeom blinked. "Tell us already."

"Roseanne Park, happy?"

"No way!" Seokmin said. "She's hot!"

"Isn't she the girl who got perfect marks on her report card?" Mingyu asked. "I mean, not really perfect but you know what i mean."

"How can you have her?" Yugyeom asked.

"Because we're going to get engaged, happy?" He said. "Do you have any more questions?"

"You're okay with this?" Minghao asked.

"Yes," he answered. "It's not like I have a girlfriend and besides, I'm still free, I can still hang out with you."

Meanwhile...

Rosé walked inside the school without any care. No one blocking her and threatening her so far so good. No one bothering her.

She opened her locker only to be slammed shut again.

"What the hell?"

She turned to her side and found Jennie glaring at her.

"How come i didn't know about your engagement?" She said, her cat eyes narrowing.

"Easy on her, Jen," Jimin said, calming her down. "She must've just known recently."

"Shut up, Jimin," Jennie said crossing her arms. "And it's forced."

"I'm not forced," she shrugged. "I can't do anything about it but accept what's coming to me and I already know since I was thirteen."

"How come you didn't tell me?"

"I figured it wasn't important, so don't make a big deal out of it, okay?" She said, opening her locker once more and putting books inside. "It's not like a have choice, I thought you know my situation."

Jennie softened a little and turned her around to face her.

"Are you sure everything's fine?" She asked. "Cause I know I'm not."

"Look, I'm sorry for not telling you, but here i am now apologizing and you already knew, I'll tell you the rest if you want," she said. "And how the hell did you know?"

"I heard your name while I was passing by and a bunch of guys were talking about you being engaged to a Jeon."

"Then there you go," she said. "I swear i'll kill him if this leaks."

Jennie sighed.

"I just feel like you're not telling me something every now and then," she said.

"If I did, could you have done something? No. You'll be facing the Jeons plus my family if you did have any plan to get me out."

"I have tons."

"Like what?"

"Telling them that you're still human and not just their precious little Roseanne because the Roseanne I know is a big dreamer and someone who's more capable than doing other things than getting engage for business."

Rosé looked at the older girl in front of her. Jennie, an older sister she never got.

She smiled.

"It's alright, Jen," she said. "I'm going to be fine. And we can't do anything about it."

"Just promise me you'll talk to me if you're not fine," Jennie said softly.

"I promise," Rosé smiled.

Just then the bell rang. Jennie left after a few more words and scampered upstairs to her room.

"I hope you understand she's just concerned about you," Jimin said, who stayed behind.

"Of course," Rosé said. "If I were you, I would be worrying."

"Why?"

"This school is filled with heirs, I won't be surprised if she got engaged," she said.

Jimin's ears turned pink.

"I know," Rosé wrinkled her face. "You're too obvious you know? A boy and a girl being friends, best friends even is likely to fall in love with each other. One sided or not."

"Are you Cupid now?"

"I won't be asking that question if I were you," Rosé said in dismay. "You should make your move."

"I will, love expert," Jimin laughed. "I gotta go before she looks for me."

They separated ways after the second stairs and went to her class where she meets Jeon Jungkook.

They had an eye contact for a second before Seokmin waved at her. She doesn't even know him that well. Jungkook grabbed his arms and stopped him from waving like a maniac.

Rosé shrugged it off and sat beside Lisa.

"So, it's true then?" Lisa said bitterly.

"You know?" Rosé asked. "I can explain."

"Don't worry, Bambam told me everything, not all of it though," she said. "I'm just upset I had to find out from others."

"I'm sorry Lalisa," she apologized. "Jennie threw a fit too, but it should be a secret."

"I guess it was serious enough for me to not know it yet," she said.

"I was going to tell you, I swear," Rosé said.

Lisa laughed. "You look cute when you're guilty and nervous."

"Pranpriya," Rosé whined. "You're so mean."

Jungkook had to calm Seokmin down who was pointing at Rosé like she was a celebrity and he was a fanboy.

"She's just our classmate in this class, an ordinary girl so quit it," Jungkook sighed.

"You're lucky you got a flaming hot girl!" Yugyeom said.

"I know right?" Jungkook smirked. "And she's all mine."

They just looked at him shocked. But they know.

"He's serious about that," Minghao said. "And he's already boasting."

Jungkook just smiled at them and looked at Rosé. He wouldn't mind getting arranged with her.

As for the girl he was staring at, she glared at him so hard. Showing off, he winked at her and she scoffed before turning her back.

"Engagement next month?" Mingyu smirks. "Boy you better control your hormones."
