°REALITY CHECK

Jungkook felt his cheeks sting from the slap, but he shrugged it away thinking he deserved it. If she was this angry, they he really hurt her bad.

"Lisa!" Bambam grabbed her before he could do more harm to Jungkook. "What are you doing??"

"Let me go!" She tried to push him away, glaring at Jungkook. "How dare you call my bestfriend names you asshole! You don't deserve her, you don't deserve her attention, her affection, you don't deserve her presence you bastard!"

"Lisa, that's enough!" Bambam restrained the clearly enraged girl in front of them as Yugyeom helped him calm her down.

"I deserve it," he said told Bambam, smiling a bit. "I'm sorry Lisa, I know you won't forgive me just yet, or maybe never but I am sincerely apologizing for hurting Roseanne."

"Damn right!" She scoffed, pushing both guys away from her as she stood there glaring daggers at Jungkook.

"He admits his mistakes Lisa," Mingyu said, holdong Jungkook's shoulder. "Give him a chance."

"If Roseanne would, I will think about not shoving my fist down his throat," she retorted, snapping at them.

She was furious. Thankful that Roseanne already opened the door for her again, but the pain was evident in her face and it made her blood boil knowing who exactly caused it and why. He should thanks his friends were their to restrain him before she tears him to shreds.

"I did a lot of mistakes, but can I be selfish once again?" Jungkook laughed without a hint of amusement. "I don't deserve her you say, maybe not now. But I will do everything I can to make you say I deserve to have Roseanne by my side because she makes me super happy for some reason. I don't want to let go of her."

Lisa just looked at him, scanning every expression his face might show. He was sincere but she ain't falling for that because it won't change that he hurt her Rosie.

"Apologize to her and they maybe I won't murder you," she said before looking at Bambam who flinched before she dragged him somewhere.

Jungkool sighed in relief. If he was going for Roseanne, he had to get her friends' good sides first.

"I honestly am afraid for Bambam," Yugyeom said, eyes on the couple that left a moment ago, earning a round of laugh from his friends.

He stood nervously in the elevator, fidgeting as he looked at the numbers of floors he was passing before he get on the final floor. He was going back home to their apartment after a couple of weeks at his parents.

"Shit," he cursed as he arrived on the floor he was supposed to get off.

He was sure he'd forget everything he rehearsed before, making himself look dumb in front of her. And that made him extra nervous.

"Jungkook, right?"

He looked up hearing someone call him and found two of his seniors, Jennie and Jimin looking at him. More like glaring.

"Y-yes?"

"I can't even look at him without feeling a sense of murdering him on the spot," he heard Jennie mutter before walking past him.

Roseanne sure do have a lot of people caring for her, meaning he's really done for if he hurts her again.

"Don't mind her, she's just mad at you for making Roseanne cry," Jimin said, but he didn't smile.

"Are you?"

He put his hands in his pockets and looked at Jungkook. "Yes, of course I am," he said. "But Roseanne wouldn't cry if she didn't care about you. And she wants everyone she cares about to get alone so I'm not going to bite your head off because I think a lot of people already did that so I'm just going to talk to you calmly."

"Thanks," he said, relieved.

"So yeah, don't snap at her again if you don't have enough reasons to do so, or you don't know the whole reason," Jimin said, burning his gaze through him even though he was calmly talking to him. "If you're jealous, be patient because revenge or anger isn't going to help. I know you know that by now so if anything, you should be making her happy instead of being selfish for your own happiness if you really care about her."

He nodded. "I know I messed up," he sighed, running his fingers through his hair.

"I know she also messed up and I already scolded her for that," Jimin shrugged. "She had faults and hurt you but I'm disappointed you decided to take revenge instead of being happy for her, but who am I kidding? You were jealous, I can't blame you. Just... be patient. Roseanne neever really got to enjoy most of her life involving love. I know that's not enough excuse on why she hurt you, but I'll take my chances."

"Are you a med student?" Jungkook couldn't help but ask.

Jimin laughed. "No," he said. "I'm just good at being patient and not doing things irrationally. You need to be careful you know, every girl is worth the wait."

Jungkook knew exactly where he was looking when he said that. They were the only ones on the floor, unless he's seeing a ghost.

"I will," he smiled. "Thank you so much for not yelling or insulting me though I deserve it."

"No you don't," Jimin said, putting a hand on his shoulder when he passed him. "We're human after all, with a heart who beats for it's other half. And it takes a lot of self control to understand love."

"Bye Jimin hyung," he waved.

He smiled on as he stood at the door. What Jimin said made sense actually, his jealousy and anger got the best of him that's why hell broke loose. Now, he'll take those words to heart. He cares about her enough to think hurting her is the last thing he wants to do.

He opened the door, eyes searching for Roseanne as he went in. He heard voices soon enough and walked inside the living room with a smile.

"Thanks for everything Jaehyun," his smile faltered seeing Roseanne in the arms of the one and only Jung Jaehyun.
