°TOMORROW

It was just as if last week they were engaged and the second semester already came to torture the poor souls.

Jungkook had been waiting for Roseanne outside the cafeteria so they can have their date already, set up by his mom. But she was taking longer, he already memorized her schedule and she was supposed to be out twenty minutes ago.

Meanwhile, Roseanne had cleaned yet another vandalism on her desk with unpleasant words written in capital letters.

"I should make him clean this, instead," she sighed.

But her phone had been drained already because stupid Jungkook forgot his charger in their room and borrowed hers. The date can wait because her record might be stained with these freaking vandalisms.

"Roseanne Park, is it?"

She raised her head and the girl from before who sent her in flames.

"What do you want?" She asked. "If you're still bitter with the fact Jungkook and I are together already, don't worry. Nothing's special is going on."

"That is the shittiest explanation I have ever heard," she laughed. "Listen, you might have him in your possession right now, but it won't last long, so enjoy your time while you have him."

She turned around and walked away but stopped at the door to look at her pathetically.

"Hey, Chaewon?" Roseanne said, crossing her arms. "I don't care about what was between you and him, but it's clear that he isn't yours. He's not a material thing to be owned by somebody with the likes of you."

"How would you know?" She said. "You didn't work hard to gain his attention that I have been working on for three years. And to what? To be dumped after a month? I am not giving up that easily."

Then she left.

Roseanne felt a little pang of pity for the girl. Jungkook do fool around with girls, does that mean he never considered their feelings? But then again, he's never involved in anything serious. To him, it was all a hobby or a time kill.

It made her a little bit sad for him that his life is ruined because of the steps already laid out for him instead of the stones he wanted to step on.

"There you are!" He said. "I've been waiting for you for almost an hour, where the hell have you been?"

She looked at him for a moment to find the Jungkook before the world told him who he should be. He looked back at her, asking why the hell is she staring.

"I was just cleaning yet another vandalism," she shrugged. "Next time, I'll make you clean it since it's your fault."

"It's not my fault that they like me so much," he said vainly.

"Yeah, I pity them for liking you when they clearly don't know who you are and what you're capable of," she sajd, walking ahead to avoid his cocky attitude.

"Oh they know what I am capable of," he said proudly.

"Really?" She stopped walking to face him. "To me, it sounds like you're just living what they think you are capable of. And I think you don't even know what you're capable of."

He was simply caught off guard with her sudden change of emotion from yesterday.

"Sorry, did I make you uncomfortable?" She asked.

"No," he said, not entirely believing himself. "I'm just completely weirded out because you're like a robot talking in in monotone like you're giving me life lessons and made me think, did I just get engaged with a preacher?"
