°TRYING TO

Talking with his parents surprisingly helped. A lot. But was it enough to make him forgive her? He knew he did wrong too but she did worse.

"And I've completely gone too far," he muttered to himself.

Not far from where he was, he saw his friends talking. Well, people who once was his friends until they started blaming him for everything and ditched him.

"Calm down Jungkook," he breathed, patting himself to calm down. "They had their reasons, you fucked up anyway so be a good person and apologize to them. You did ignore them for weeks."

Not totally ignore, but he always made excuses when he hangs out with Chaeyeon. Maybe he didn't notice that they too were wanting his attention as his friends.

He sighed. "Well, here goes nothing."

After long hours of thinking, he finally came up with a plan. He was going to apologize for everything, be it his fault or not because, let's be true here, he also made mistakes. No one's perfect after all. He was going to apologize to his friends, and to Roseanne. He just want them to be friends again.

His grasp on his bag tightened when he approached the guys seated on the grass, enjoying the shade of the tree where they usually sit and practice.

"Hey guys," he said, clearing his throat.

"Finally decided to sit with us," Bambam snickered, glancing at him. "Or not."

The others looked at him shortly before going back to what they were doing. Well, except for Seokmin.

"Guys, I think he wants to say something," Seokmin glared at them before standing up and smiling at Jungkook. "Don't mind them, you can sit down."

He whispered a thanks to him and sat down.

"Later guys," Bambam started to collect his things. "I need to pick up something from home, call me if anything happens."

The others nodded and stood up too, brushing the dust off their clothes.

"Bambam, sit down, everybody sit down," Seokmin frowned, his voice raised. "Jungkook is sorry for whatever he did so give him a chance."

He only rolled his eyes and leaned agaonstbthe tree, crossing his arms and waited for his explanation.

"I-I know I did some things that I'm not proud of, hurt you guys and was insensitive these past weeks, I wasn't being a good friend and I'm really sorry for that-"

"I forgive you," Bambam cut him making him look up at him in surprise.

"What?" He asked. "Really?"

"Yeah," Bambam smiled, pulling him up and punching his shoulders as they laughed together. "I forgive you, I was an asshole too for blaming so I'm sorry. I was really just upset you stopped hanging out with is and decided to trust a girl who just met rather than your best friends since before birth-"

"I'm sorry," Jungkook intervened, feeling guilty.

Bambam held up his hands in sign to stop him. "But I forgive you," he said. "I guess what drove me to my limits was, you're right, because of Lisa. I can't stand her crying and I blamed you for it. I forgive you bro."

Jungkook hugged him in happiness, catching Bambam off guard cause bruh they never hug each other that much. Only occasional pat on the backs. Seokmin could only smile because they were okay again.

"Hey, we're totally fine," he said, leaning his elbows on his shoulders. "But I don't know about them," he pointed to the rest.

Jungkook faced them, his head hung low. "I know you are mad at me for ditching you guys when all you've done is understand me when you know the truth," he said. "And for accusing you guys of being bad friends when I am one-"

"Bro, stop," Minghao said, interrupting him.

"Sorry," he muttered feeling discouraged and guiltier than ever.

"We forgive you," Yugyeom smiled, patting him on the back. "Now stop with the apologies, you're making me cringe." He said playfully.

"Yeah, you sound like those dramas we've been making fun of," Minghao laughed.

"Still, you have to pay for the meals for a week, wherever we eat," Mingyu smirked, crossing his arms slyly.

"Honestly I don't care," Jungkook laughed, happy to be around his friends again.

"Really?" Mingyu asked, grinning evilly. "Be it a month?"

"No," Jungkook's smile faltered. "I'm still a university student, maybe after I get a job."

He couldn't feel happier, laughing and fooling around with his friends again. He is lucky to have such dorky and loving friends.

And now, Roseanne. He knew it would be harder to apologize to her because he hurt her a lot than needed. Not that it was needed. But he went overboard the last time they spoke to each other.

He suddenly turned around noticing the rest had their heads behind him, looking at the approaching girl.

"Can anybody come with me - " she stopped walking when she looked up. "Jungkook?"

Before he say anything, she slapped him in the face making everybody gasped in shock as he froze, taken aback. He thought to himself that he probably deserved that.

"How dare you show your face to me after what you did?!"
