Jungkook sighed and wiped his face with his palms. It had been a week and Roseanne hadn't come home since. He had thought twice whether to pick her up from her house or let her be. In the end, he chose the latter.
She needs some space - or rather, he needed the space.
It was rare of Jungkook to have an outburst like that. Yes, he had fights with his fellow teammates countless time but all were out of pure anger from the game. This time, it was that he poured put his feelings - all of it, the pain, the anger, frustration - all that he didn't know he had been battling for a while.
He groaned when he had stupidly used his elbows to push him up from the sofa forgetting the wound he had acquired from the night a week ago.
"Me and my stupid self," he muttered, caressing his arm to lessen the pain.
It was out of impulse that he kicked the table beside the door as soon as he entered, breaking the large glass vase that was put there by Roseanne. And it was a very unfortunate event that his skateboard was there astray and stepped on it. It would've been fine falling on his butt but instead he fell on his back, his forearm crushing the broken glass under him.
"Hello?" He spoke through the phone, gritting his teeth as he changed the bandages. His eyes widened when the other line brought him good news. "Really?? ... Be right therr!"
He quickly drove to the hospital after putting on a longsleeved button up and jacket to ensure no one's prying eyes would ask in curiosity.
"Dad!" Jungkook happily walked to the man on the bed finally sitting. "How are you feeling?"
Though he was happy, he couldn't help but awkwardly suck in a breath when he met Roseanne outside. The plan was to not ignore her but he had been caught in a surprise when he saw her seated outside.
"I'm fine," his dad smiled. "To tell you the truth, i was already up last night and mr. Park here and his granddaughter came to visit. He had kept me company since I told your mom to sleep."
"Yeah, she had those eye bags under her eyes," he said, ignoring the surprise in him. "She was really worried about you. I'm just happy you're awake."
"So am i," he chuckled. "Your mom is going crazy because our company is falling but thanks to Mr. Park, he had kept us steady along with Miss Jung. Speaking, mr. Park, where is your son?"
"My son?"

As soon as Jungkook arrived, she knew she wouldn't be able to face him at least not now. She knew he was hurt and no amount of guilt would satisfy her conscience. She had made him hope and there she was, forgetting each of her promises.
"You have to at least eat something," Lisa said worriedly, putting a variety of dishes in front of the unresponsive girl.
"I'm not hungry," she said, turning away from the mouthwatering food laid in front of her.
No amount of food could make her forget the problem at hand.
"Eat," lisa glared, pushing the plate towards her. "You haven't eaten properly since you took care of mr. Jeon. I know you want to make it up to him, taking care of his dad and all, but you can't starve yourself. He really won't forgive you if you don't eat."
