°ANCHORS AND GRASS MELODIES
Jungkook felt uncomfortable under Lisa's gaze, though Bambam had tried to ease the tension. He understood why she was looking at him like she was going to shred him to pieces any second but he wished she's stop because she's scary sometimes.
"Lisa, I think we should get going?" Bambam stood up and held her to stand up as well. "I think I should take you home before your dad rips me to pieces."
"I thought you're not engaged anymore?" Jungkook can't help but ask. He sunk low when she threw him a nasty look making him regret he asked.
Though Bambam was blushing.
"Our families are good friends and we are, too," he explained. "And I think it's just right that I can't let a girl go home alone?"
Lisa scoffed and looked at him. "A girl?" She said in disbelief. "I can go home by myself thank you very much. And you," she glared at Jungkook. "You better behave yourself."
Jungkook sighed in relief once they left, he yet needs to apologize to her bestfriend then.
He can't help but smile thinking everything's fine now, they were fine. She was smiling at him again, and they both fine. Of course he still is on Lisa's blacklist, but that can be arranged. He'll make her see that he can take care of Roseanne just as much.
"Sorry, Jungkook," Roseanne sat across him looking like she ran down the stairs. Well, technically she did. "I had to finish something and I couldn't leave Jaehyun alone so I kinda stayed longer - before you say anything, we're just friends. Don't get mad."
He found it adorable that she quickly explained. Well, he couldn't lie, he was kind of jealous because she used to like Jaehyun but he wants to trust her more.
"It's okay," he smiled. "Lisa and Bambam were here a few minutes ago and I have to say I'm still on Lisa's bad side."
"I'm sorry," she said, her expression turning into a guilty one. "Don't worry, I'll explain to her."
He chuckled. "No, you can't force her to just forgive me like that," he said. "She also needs time, what can I do? I hurt her bestfriend so naturally she's claw at me."
"I hurt you more though," she whispered but he heard clearly.
"Roseanne," he began, trying to get drag her the conversation away from that. "It's okay, you don't have to say anything anymore."
"I just feel guilty everytime," she looked at him in the eye, emotions pouring out. "Because of me everyone got mad at you when you're the one who was more than hurt. You didn't deserve any of it. I don't think a thousand apologies, even billions is enough. "
"I was being unreasonable, don't worry about it," he took her hands in his, assuring her.
She smiled a little. Jungkook hated it, he just wanted the old Roseanne back even though they've been cats and dogs sometimes. But he admits he likes seeing a soft side of her, though not this vulnerable. He had enough of seeing her like that he just wants to make her smile.
"I miss Roseanne," she gave him a weird look and kicked him under the table when he laughed. "That's my Roseanne. Although I really like you quiet and not killing me at the moment, I want the old you back where I can see you glowing everytime I see you."
