°LIKE GLUE
Jungkook so badly wants to strangle his friends right now, ears a shade of furious red. The teasing hadn't stopped until lunch time, he wished he had a different schedule.
"I've never seen Jungkook so red before," Yugyeom snickers, hiding his face behind his arms as he hits Mingyu on the arm, amused. "He got shy!"
Well, in his defense, he hadn't really expected her to give him a kiss. It was only the second time, he recalls, and that caught him very much off guard. He burries his face in his arms, it wasn't even on his lips. Just on the corner. But it was enough to get him shy, they were in the lockers for goodness' sake and his friends cooing definitely did not help either.
On the other hand, Mingyu is, yes, also amused of what happened but being hit on the shoulders isn't really amusing at all and proceeds to push Yugyeom off his seat.
"Hey man, what's the big deal?" He says and stands up. Jungkook guiltily hopes he won't. But it's Yugyeom. He smiles conspiratorially. "What if I give him a kiss, will he blush too? Oh man, I wanna try it."
Jungkook looks at him in disgust. He stands, dodging Yugyeom's attempt to plant a kiss on his cheeks, lips even.
"Woah, stay where you are you monkey," he says, pushing him away and throwing the empty carton of milk in his direction.
But, it's not so empty after all as remains of the said drink spills, sadly, not on Yugyeom but poor unsuspecting Minghao who just arrived and onto the papers he was holding. Their jaw drop, both of them freezing.
"You're dead," Yugyeom tells him, fist in his mouth and eyes wide.
"No, you are," Jungkook retorts, equally horrified as they both look at their friend, still smiling softly like before and after he arrived.
"You don't deserve to be buried you hooligans," Minghao opens his eyes, iris flaring as he set his gaze on them. "I stayed up all night working on this you fuckers!"
And that's how Roseanne found him in the library, fingers flying on the keyboard as he, along with Yugyeom, furiously type the words copied on the soggy sheets laid on the side. Minghao sitting across them, smiling innocently.
She laughs when she hears the story from Seokmim who just shrugs when Jungkook hisses at him for telling the story more embarrassing than what it should be.
"It's your fault, why are you laughing?" He jabs, glaring at her when she continues to make fun of him. "You should be the one typing this."
"I wasn't the one who threw the carton," she says. Then lays her head on her arms, looking at him. "Hey, Kook, what do you think we should eat for dinner? We've been downing pasta like there's no tomorrow, should be order pizza?"
Jungkook's brain is a little bit frenzied at the mention of food, he had skipped lunch in favor of replacing Minghao's papers. He couldn't even drink half the milk he bought, majority of it on the papers on the table.
"You skipped lunch?" Roseanne rose from the table, eyebrows coming together.
"I had a lot of breakfast so it's not a bother at all, but I am actually hungry. If you could smuggle food in the library, I would be happy."
Roseanne pretends to think about it deeply then flashes a smile to him. "I don't think it's worth the risk," she smugly says and Jungkook makes an affronted sound in the back of his throat. "See you later!"
She stands up and grabs her bag as he just stared at her, wow. His so called friends snickers and still had the audacity to hide their amusement. He glares at them before he lets out a surprised sound that came out like a chicken when Roseanne cups his face and gives him kiss.
