°QUESTIONS

Everything went awkward after that day because it looked like both of them confessed indirectly, yet they do not know or it was not their intention. But no one spoke after that except for them asking random questions about what dinner, what time is it- even though they have those expensive watches around their wrists- just to attempt to raise a conversation but no more than five sentences came out.

It was dinner time and they just ate. Jungkook just finished washing the dishes while Roseanne had already climbed upstairs to maybe sleep. Part of him was relieved that he won't enter with awkwardness again then another part of him down because he won't be able to try and talk to her.

"Jungkook."

He almost tripped on the door when she called him just after he opened the door.

"Yes?" He said, trying not to sound awkward.

"Why aren't you talking to me?" She asked. "Are you mad at me?"

His forehead creased in confusion but understood. Yet he was contemplating because he wasn't mad at all.

"No, why?" He asked dumbly.

"I just told you the reason why?" She said. "Look, you're not even talking to me like the usual?"

He mentally punched himself. All along he thought they were both awkward but it was just him all along.

"Why? You miss me?" He said, trying to cover his dumb assumption.

"And you're acting cocky again," she rolled her eyes. "Forget I asked. Go back to being mute Jungkook."

He didn't want to go back to being mute. He just regained his confidence around her. So he sat beside her on the corner of the bed and stared at her face while she's on her phone.

"What?" She stopped and looked at him.

"You look ugly," he laughed.

"Thanks for reminding me," she pushed him away and went back to her phone.

"I was just kidding," he said.

"Yeah, I guess," she said, still on her phone.

Jungkook got curious and grabbed her phone. Why was she so attentive of her phone? Can she not notice her handsome fiancé just beside her?

"Jungkook, give it back," she said, bored.

"Not until you put your whole attention to me," he said. "Don't you know how nervous I am the last two days? Now talk to me."

"You were nervous?" She said, curious. "Why?"

Damn. He was getting caught. But wait, he doesn't even know why he's nervous in the first place. But how could he tell her? What would he tell her?

"I thought you were going to punch me again after I kissed you several times and I kinda embarrassed you in front of your classmate which was maybe or maybe not my attention," he smiled. "So don't hit me."

"I'm not going to hit you," she frowned and took back her phone.

Before she could get busy again with her phone, whatever business she have or whoever asshole she was talking with, he took her phone again and put it on his table.
