Steph

"Hello?" I yawn into the phone, still lying in bed

"Where are you?" Dani practically screams into the phone

"I was sleeping" I sulk

"Remember, I invited everyone to my house today?" Oh yeah... "well everyone's here except you. Steph it's 10' o'clock you will hall your ass out of bed and be here in half an hour." I roll out of my cosy bed.

I throw on my jeans a sweater and my black converse and leave my hair down because I had straightened it last night. I apply a little makeup and head out. Thank god Danis house is a short walk, I'm so tired.

"Look who decided to join us!" Maya squeals as she opens the front door

I walk inside and over to Ethan, "remind me why I'm here" I yawn resting my head on his shoulder while everyone talks

"I told them not to wake you, Danis too headstrong. It's useless" he laughs putting his arm around me

"You're too sweet Ethan" I giggle

"Dani, I couldn't find the hot chocolate powder in the-" Evan walks out from the kitchen making me jump up from Ethan's shoulder "Hey Stephy" he smirks

"Hey you" I smile while hugging him, "I thought you weren't gonna turn up, I started to think I came here for nothing" he said, I roll my eyes. "Are you busy this Friday night?"

"No..." I smile

"We should go out, together. Like, just us two" he says confidently

"Are you asking me out?" I laugh

"I guess I am" he smirks, "so what do you say?"

"Sure, its a date"

"You're amazing, I'll come past around 7" I am now buzzing with excitement, Evan asked me on a date?! He walks over to Chris and Jake and I walk back to Ethan

"You're awfully smiley" he giggles tickling me, between the tickles and the fact that Evan asked me out I could not stop laughing. "Hey! We have to go laser tag this Friday, we haven't been in forever"

"I can't- this Friday... how about Saturday?"

"Of course"

Dani's pov

"What do you think they're talking about" Maya whispers to me

"Who knows?" I laugh glancing over at Steph and Etho who were invested in conversation

"What's the deal with those two" I hear Evan to the other side of me "are they always this... close?"

"They're best friends Evan, she trusts him more than anyone" Maya says, making me wonder why they've never dated before.

"Oh...right." His face drops.

"Trust me you have nothing to worry about, they sorted their shit out agesssss ago." I reassured him.

"Thanks guys," he smiles weakly, stuffs his hands in his pockets and wanders off.

"That was low key awkward" Maya

"Tell me about it" I laugh it off, "anyways I am one hungry human" I walk over to the kitchen and put some frozen pizza in the oven.

"Hey you" Jakob laughs as he walks in to the kitchen

"Hey, what do you think of Evan?" I ask eagerly

"He's a pretty cool dude I guess, he's mad about Steph"

"Yeah, I picked up on that. I think they'd be pretty cute together"

"Yeah but if he hurts her, we'll have to bash the kid" I laugh hysterically until I realise he wasn't joking.

"Jakobbbbbbbb, don't be mean to him." I turn to look at him, "That's Ethan's job." Jakob laughs.

"We haven't been spending much time together lately." Jakob whines as he kisses me.

"Have a sook." I laugh as I go into hug him.

"Let's go a date."

"oooo yay when?" I love Jakob.

"How about Saturday night?"

"Of course! Text me the details when you have them."
