Chapter 67

Mia's POV

"I need to talk to both of you," Harry spoke.

"No, you are not talking to her," Zayn hissed at his best friend.

"What's going on between you two?" I asked, annoyed that I was being kept in the dark. "Why are you both acting like this?"

"Either you tell her or I will," Harry threatened.

"Tell me what?" I glanced at Zayn who was frozen in place, fuming with anger and a mixture of sadness in his eyes. "Zayn, please tell me what's going on."

He hesitated, shaking his head, while taking a step towards Harry. For a brief second, I thought he was going to punch the curly haired boy across the face and I held him back.

"I'm not going to do anything to him, Mia," he huffed at me before turning his attention back at Harry who wasn't intimidated by Zayn's attitude. "I would never throw a fist at my best friend. Best friends wouldn't do that to each other," he spat.

"Stop stalling, Zayn," Harry countered back. "You need to tell her right now because I'm sick of playing pretend when shits about to explode. You crossed the line, why don't you just fucking admit it!"

Voices were being raised, eyeballs scratched out and I could see that people were now starting to notice the commotion between two of the groomsmen.

"Stop it. People are starting to look this way," I warned them but they continued staring each other down, their breaths drawing louder and louder.

"What's the problem over here?" Louis jumped in, with Eleanor's arm around his.

"Nothing," both of the boys lied.

"If you two have an issue, deal with it outside and get it over with. I'm not going to have two of my mates fighting over some girl at my wedding."

For once, Louis looked like the leader of the group. Sweet and happy Louis wasn't sweet and happy anymore.

"They're not fighting over me," I told him. "They're arguing because .. Well .. I was trying to figure that out."

"Come on, Louis," Eleanor spoke in a worried tone. "Let's go before it gets out of hand."

Okay, now I'm really confused. Even Eleanor knew something I didn't know. They left us, trying to guide everyone's attention with a speech as Louis walked onto the stage with a mic in his hand.

"Harry, just tell me what's going on," I looked over at him but he didn't speak up. "Harry, you said you needed to talk to us, now talk. I don't care what Zayn says. I don't care that he's not letting you tell me but if he won't tell me himself, please for the love of god, I need to know."

"One last chance, Zayn..." Harry warned his friend.

I didn't know what the hell was going on but I couldn't stand seeing them fight over something that could possibly tear them apart any longer.

And I'm hoping the reason for their bickering wasn't me. It couldn't be me.

"I'll tell her once we get back to the hotel," Zayn gritted under his teeth.

"How will I be so sure that you'll tell her?"

"When have I ever lied to you mate."

"Don't even think about using that against me," Harry warned as he pointed his finger at Zayn.

"I'm serious! I never lied to you once."

"Really, then why did you tell me that Mia kissed you on that bus! We all know it was you who kissed her first."
