I knock once on Solana's chamber door. "Lana, would you come with me to the healer's? I wanted to talk to you."

"Sure, I could use a tonic." Solana answers and closes her door behind us.

"Good." I walk arm and arm with her down the hallway. "I'm sorry for what Jett said at dinner yesterday- he just cares for Jasper."

"It's fine." Solana frowns. "I'm over it."

"Have you seen Jasper lately?"

"No." She shakes her head. "I was thinking about it, but ended up fucking Knot instead."

"Don't you want to try to actually date someone? Knoton maybe?"

"And subject myself to one man? No thank you." Solana scoffs.

I chuckle, "As long as you're happy and safe, then fine by me."

"Yeah...no more Aramis or men like him. I'm so glad I don't live in Ferawen."

"I almost killed him, Solana." I sigh.

Solana kisses my cheek. "You're the best big sister."

"I think we need to get you some defense classes so that when I'm not there you can do it for yourself."

"Are you forgetting my power?" Solana gives me a pointed look.

"Then why did I have to intervene in the first place?" I give her the same pointed look.

"You seem like you wanted too." Solana shrugs.

I burst out laugh and reply back sarcastically, "Oh yes, because I rather have almost killed Aramis rather than make love to my fiancé who hwas waiting in my bed."

"Make love oooo." Solana teases. "Isn't making love wonderful. I must say Jasper was my favorite."

"It's better than meaningless sex."

"All sex is meaningful to me." Solana chuckles. "Except Aramis."

"I was thinking about light blue bridesmaids gowns." I smile over at her and think about Jett.

"I don't look good in blue, but sure."

"Nonsense! You look good in every color, Solana." I roll my eyes.

"Red and purple, those are my colors." Solana smirks. "I have brown eyes not your gorgeous blue ones that look good in that color."

"I can't really have red for a January wedding." I give her a pointed look.

"Why not it's January birthstone color." Solana pouts.

"Jett likes blue and I do too. We were thinking of midnight blue, but after that Ferawen visit..."

"Fine. Blue it is." Solana says in defeat.

"I promise you your dress will have more sparkle to it than all the rest of the bridesmaids gowns."

"You know me so well." Solana smiles widely.

"Oh, I know you far too well." I chuckle thinking about the noises through the walls.

"What can I say...I'm a lover." Solana chuckles.

I shake my head smiling as we enter in the healer's ward and spot Mayrah.

"Hey, soon to be sister-in-law." I greet.

"Hello Mayrah." Solana smiles.

"Hi, Princesses. What can I do for the two of you?" Mayrah grins back.
