Raidyn told me about Raven's divorce and I was happy yet sad to hear it, I know Raven has been through a lot these past few months with the birth of Cal's other son. I want her to be happy, she is my sister in law after all. Out of everyone I know Raven deserves happiness the most.

I meet up for breakfast with Leona who I feel I haven't seen in awhile. Her son is a little trouble maker, Lonan and Cassius like playing together which is nice because it gets Leona and I together to form play dates. "He's been asking to play with Lon, he's misses him."

"That's only because Cassius is just dying to play war with him." Leona chuckles.

"They're the cutest little friends." I smile. "Wynnie hates playing with Cas."

"He's so soft and gentle, you would think she would love that. I think it's cute how particular Cas is." Leona smiles.

"She likes it when he plays what she wants to play. Wynnie likes playing dolls and dress up."

"Typical, huh?" She sits back in her chair. "Donovan and I have been talking about more."

"That's wonderful! Trying for a girl?" I take a sip of my morning coffee.

"We aren't trying right now, but soon."

"Maybe it'll be born the same day as my next one too." I joke. "I'm dying to become pregnant again, but Raidyn and I are still waiting so we can distance the children's ages."

"The only problem with that is that your newest addition will be kind of left out by the others because they are all so close in age." She points out.

"Maybe I'll talk to Raidyn about that tonight." I nod my head. "When's the wedding? I mean it's been over a year do you guys still not have a date yet?"

"I can't seem to get any planning done with Donovan because every time we get alone together it just leads elsewhere..." Leona sighs.

"Maybe I can help you? This way we can spend more time together too."

"I would love that. Donovan is usually gone during the day so just stop by when you're not busy."

"I'm hardly busy, not to mention with Raidyn's cousins here, he's been spending majority of his time with them."

"Raidyn's cousins? I don't think I've heard about them coming, then again, I don't really get out much anymore."

"Nephele and Rhett. Nephele is going to be queen of the Windy Kingdom...oh and I believe Jett, her husband, is from Ferawen."

"What's Jett's last name?"

"Blackthorne."

Leona gasps, "You're kidding me."

I look surprised. "You know him?"

"Everyone in Ferawen knows about General Blackthorne and his murder. The authorities believed that Mrs. Blackthorne killed her husband- she took the kids and fled after killing him."

"No!" I say in disbelief. "Jett's mother is a murderer?"

Leona shrugs, "That's the story. General Blackthorne was the best in all the realm, or believed to be. He had superb fighting skills."

"I wonder what made the mother snap...but Ferawen is the sexist kingdom so I bet there are some flaws to this rumor--or some unknown truth."

"Probably. Odds are he was abusive." Leona agrees.

"Such a shame." I frown as our breakfast arrives and I begin to pick at my toast.

"It really is, but that's the way of Ferawen- I'm glad I don't live there anymore, even with the changes."
