Victoria's Point Of View
"Will you be my date to the party tonight?" He asked, and suddenly my mind went blank. Did I want to be his date? I should, right? He's my boyfriend...but why is he my boyfriend? I started to panic inside and my mind raced. Do I want to be Andrew's date? I asked myself, and was afraid of what the answer would be. I pushed my mind to the present and looked at the eyes of my boyfriend.
"I thought the whole table was gonna be going as friends, like together." I said, referring to the lunch table when we had all agreed to go to Natalie's party.
"Well yeah but..." He said, leading off, I smiled, faking a calm face and my phone rang.
"Excuse me." I said, politely and answered my phone, "Hello?"
"Hey Vic." Luke said.
"Hi Luke. What's up?" I asked.
"Just wondering if you wanted to hang out tonight." He said, nonchalantly.
"I'm going to a party at my friends house with a couple of people, you are welcome to come if you want." I said, and saw Andrew clench his fists, I grabbed his hand and smiled.
"Like a date?" Luke joked and I giggled.
"You wish. Come to my house at like five?" I asked.
"Sure. Do I have to dress up?" He asked, as Andrew and I walked out of school.
"Not dress up. But look nice. I'll see you later." I said as we got to Andrew's car.
"Kay. Bye Vic." He said and we hung up as I entered the car.
"You did NOT just invite him to the party tonight, Tori." Andrew scowled.
"I did. Why?" I said, knowing he was mad because he didn't like Luke but he had nothing to be jealous of. This was ridiculous.
"What is this? Like a facking date. So you won't go a on a date with your BOYFRIEND, but you'll go on a date with that facking loser?" Andrew said, angrily.
"First of all, It's not a date. He's coming with US to a party. Second of all, he's not a loser. He's my friend, can you stop being jealous for two seconds to realize that there's nothing going on with me and Luke?" I asked, gently. Andrew took deep breaths in and out.
"I'm sorry." He said, kissing my cheek and started driving.
"It's okay boo." I said, smiling as he got to my house, "I'll see you later." I kissed him softly and got out of the car. He sped off and I went into my house.
"Hey sister." Nate greeted me.
"Hey brother from another mother." I said and followed him into the kitchen.
"Word is your going to Natalie's party tonight." He said, smiling.
"Yeah, a bunch of us are. Why?"
"I was looking for a good party to go to tonight."
"Okay. Then come with. I invited Luke to come." I said, grabbing a bottle of water from the refrigerator.
"Luke? As in guy that makes Andrew angry Luke?" Nate asked, letting his jaw drop.
"Yes, that is indeed that Luke." I giggled, "Why?"
"No...reason..." Nate said, suspiciously and ran up the stairs.
"Okay!" I said, and checked the time. It was now 4:30 and the party started at 6:00 and Luke was coming at 5:00. Should I shower while he's here? I thought and heard a knock at my door. I hurried to the front and opened the door.
