Victoria's Point Of View
Jesse and I sat at my kitchen table, we had been practicing for three hours. I felt like I was making a lot of progress. I couldn't make him do anything he didn't want to do, which is the hardest.
"Do you want to try again or shall I?" Jesse asked, I bit my bottom lip.
"Make me do something I don't want to do at all and see if I can not do it. " We locked eyes.
"Get a beer from your refrigerator. You know you want it, Victoria. I bet you can't wait to sip that icy cold liquid." I stood up, not breaking eye contact and then I shook my head. I smiled and sat down. He smirked and clapped mockingly.
"Thank you, Jesse!" I hugged him with excitement, he chuckled.
"I didn't do much." He said and I pulled back.
"You're helping me. That is much." He chuckled again. "Can we try again?"
"Why don't you try to make me do something that I want to do?"
"What do you want to do?" I asked with a laugh, he smirked.
"Well, I want to hug you. It makes me feel human, your warmth." I smiled softly.
"That's sweet. Are you ready to do this?" He nodded and we locked eyes. "Hug me, Jesse." I said in an inviting tone. "Jesse, wrap your arms around me." He leaned forward then smiled and shook his head.
"Not bad." He commented.
"I seriously suck. Don't I?" I frowned and slumped back in my chair.
"Hey, hey." He said softly, he put two fingers under my chin, I looked up. "You're doing amazing for using it for the first time. If you use it on someone who isn't able to use compulsion, it would work."
"Thanks, Jesse. You're a great teacher." He winked and smiled charmingly, I smiled back.

Luke's Point Of View
"It feels so good to laugh with you again." I said, laughing.
"I know." Rosanna-the person I was talking on the phone to-said with her own giggle.
"Shut up, dude." Ethan growled, I ignored him.
"Give him a break, he's talking to his girlfriend." Maggie said with a smile.
"We haven't seen each other in a long time." I said, Maggie's face dropped.
"Who are you talking to?" James asked, I put my hand over the receiver.
"Rosanna."
"Your ex girlfriend?" He asked, I nodded. "Can I talk to her?"
"Sure." I handed him the phone, he snapped it shut. "What was that for, man?"
"Why are you talking to your ex, dude?"
"We're just friends!" I said angrily.
"You can't be friends with your ex when you have a girl!" Maggie exclaimed. I stomped out of the house, very irritated. I drove to Victoria's house.
"Hey Vic." I stepped into the kitchen, she tore my gaze away from Jesse and smiled at me.
"Hey Luke." She stood up and went to me, we kissed softly.
"How's the lesson?" I put an arm around her shoulders and looked at her.
"Great. I have the best teacher ever." She beamed at Jesse and he chuckled.
