Fallen

Chapter 8

I was about to leave when I stepped on a stick, laid on the floor, creating a loud enough sound.

I got quickly on my bike and started cycling through the forest.

Everyone in the fort heard the sound from outside.

Zayn came out to see what caused that sound. He smelled the air.

"She was here!" Zayn told the others.

Then, everyone got up and started looking for me.

Liam and Niall looked at each other a bit worriedly and started running faster than the others because they knew everyone else wanted to hurt me.

While I was cycling, I heard a sound behind me. I left my bike aside and turned around but saw nothing. When I turned front again, I saw a guy about my age. He was quite fit and muscular.

He was much taller than me and he seemed  really strong. He was looking at me with anger and disgust.

I was about to run away but he attacked me. 

He hurt me bad on my right leg, causing me to fall down so hard that I hit my head. I started bleeding really bad.

I was trying to escape from his grip when he started approaching my neck.

"What are you?" I was scared.

He approached even closer but a voice stopped him from what he was about to do.

"Beck?! What are you doing?!" Liam's voice was heard.

"You heard the Master. We have to change her!!"

"No, I'm not letting that happen!"

Beck let me go and attacked Liam pushing him with force, throwing him away.

Liam fell down, opening a dent in the territory. He got up and ran in Beck's direction while Beck was doing the same.

They clashed with all their strength.

With all the strength I had, I picked a stone and threw it on Beck's head. 

He turned around and looked at me darkly. He rushed at me but I crossed the river quickly in order to get away and he was about to follow me. Liam's voice interrupted him again.

"Who's the one that's putting us in danger now?!" Liam stopped him once again.

Beck stopped immediately. 

Then, in a split of seconds, they were gone.

I couldn't take the pain anymore and I fell down resulting in me losing my senses.

I felt someone pulling me. 

After a couple of hours, I opened my eyes. I saw a fire beside me. I was still in the forest. Then, my eyes met the wolf that had Logan's eyes. He scared me at first because I thought he would hurt me but he didn't. Instead, he came closer to me and sat beside me. 

Then, a young woman appeared in front of me.

"Are you okay?" The woman asked me.

"Yes! How did I end up here?" I asked suspiciously,

"You fainted! You were near the river. What were you doing alone in the woods?"

"I wasn't alone! I came here with some friends with our bikes but I lost them! I wasn't very careful because I fell and hit my head! That's probably how I lost my senses!"

I got up and tried to leave but I couldn't walk as my leg was aching and my head was bleeding. 

"You're too weak to walk! C'mon, drink this!" I heard her behind me.

She offered me a cup with a liquid inside and I drank it.

I was already feeling much better. I was about to leave again but this time I couldn't remember the way home. I heard the woman's voice behind me. 

"The wolf will show you the way back to your school!" Okay. She was reading my mind.

I got on that huge wolf and he started running extraordinary fast. He carried me to where I had first seen him. 

I got off of him and I looked at his eyes.

"Thank you for saving me, Logan!" I smiled back at him.

I smiled at him before he disappeared in the forest again.

The school had already finished.

I saw, then, Alisa coming in my direction very upset...
