Chapter 17

Alisa was dead and I felt like someone had pulled my heart through my chest.

I didn't know what to say, how to react.

"WHY DID YOU DO IT?? WHY?" I cried out.

"From now on, you won't find your peace and quiet! I'll be watching you every fucking second of the day, each day!" Kendall threatened.

"I didn't want to do it." Niall admitted.

"But you did do it! You and the rest of your kind won't get away with that!"

After a few minutes James had entered the room.

"Kathie, we're leaving! They're all killers in here! C'mon!"

"No! I want to talk to your master!" I turned to Liam.

"I will lead you to him! Follow me!" He nodded.

Liam took me to their leader.
I went in a room that seemed to be an office.

"Master! She wants to talk to you!"

"It's ok, Liam! You can go!" Jake dismissed him.

Liam left the room, obeying to Jake's orders like he was his slave.

"Now that my sister's dead, I want one last thing!" I spoke up.

"And what's that?"

"I want a proper funeral and I want you to let us bury her body! I want her to be treated as she deserves."

"What do I win?"

"You'll be able to kill me! You killed my sister! You can kill me, too! Alisa and I were always together since we were in diapers! I wanna follow her!"

"Sounds good to me!"

"On one condition".

"Which is..?"

"First the funeral and then you can kill me!"

"It's a deal!"

"Before you kill me, I want you to know that I hate you with all my heart and that I'll always hate you!" I admitted.

"Guess what! I don't care!" He smiled sarcastically.

I couldn't stay there any longer.
I stepped closer to the door but before opening it, I turned around one last time.

"Did Alisa fight for her life till the end?"

"Yes, she did! But she didn't make it!"

"All that matters is that she fought! So would I! So our father would! He taught us to fight for everything!"

"What about your mother?" He narrowed his eyes.

"I've never met her! She died when I was born!"

"You're orphans?"

"Alisa wasn't! I am. Alisa was raised by her biological parents! I was raised by my biological father and stepmother."

"What's your biological mother's name?"

"Her name was Jane! If only she was alive!"

"Well she's not! She's dead and you're all alone after I killed your sister! But I'll kill you, too! Now, leave!"

Jake had become paler and his eyes were darker.

I left the room but I stopped walking when I heard Jake talk on the phone.

"Jane?! We need to talk!"

I didn't pay much attention as I had more important things to think about.

I went downstairs only to be faced with Niall.

I tried to avoid him so, I kept walking towards the door in order to go out where Kendall, James and Carlos were waiting for me.

But when I was about to open the door, I heard his voice behind me.

"Kathie?!"

"What do you want from me?! You already took everything I had!"

"Go out and tell your friends to leave! You have to come with us!"

"With you?!"

"Niall and I need to take you somewhere!" Liam answered me.

"We can bring Alisa back to life!" Niall added.

"How?!"

"First, tell your werewolves to leave and then we'll tell you!" Liam said.

I had no choice. I went out to tell them to leave.

"Get in the car, Kathie! We must leave!" James said as soon as he saw me.

"No, James! I know you heard everything! Please, you need to go! I'll see you later!"

They left after a few minutes that took me to convince them.

I went back inside.

"They're gone! Now what?!"

"Now we're leaving!" Liam stated simply.

We got in their car.

I was looking out the window and I realized that we were out of London.

There were no lights on the street.

We were surrounded by darkness...
