Kathie's POV.
When I opened my eyes, I felt lost. I felt like I had been sleeping for years. I looked around me not recognizing the place. It was nice though but I had never seen it before. I was hangover, my head was pounding and I felt dizzy. I sat up when I noticed a note on the bedside table. I picked it up.
'G'morning beautiful. Hope you slept well in my bed. The breakfast is ready. H. xx.'
WHAT.THE.FUCK. Where was I and who was that 'H'? Oh god. I got out of the bed and opened the bedroom door only to meet a pair of green eyes looking at mine. It was Harry. Here comes the 'H'.
I followed him in the kitchen and sat next to him at the table.
"I made you breakfast." He smiled. Again those dimples.
"Thank you." I nodded. And took the glass with orange juice in my hands.
"I told you that I wanted to talk to you." He said after I set the glass back on the table.
"Yes. What is it?"
"You are not just a regular girl, Kathie. You have supernatural powers."
"You shouldn't have drank last night." I joked.
"I am not joking, Kathie. This is why some really bad people will come looking for you." He explained. Okay now I was really getting scared by the look on his face. He couldn't be serious but yet he seemed so dead serious.
"Looking for me? Why? What have I done?"
"You have done nothing. But you will do."
"What will I do?"
"We must find out." That's when an old bookcase at home came in my mind. I remember I used to spend hours reading a diary like book that a relative of mine had given me. I had read about supernatural powers in that book but I thought it was just a book.
"We gotta go home. I think I know where to look for what we are supposed to look for." I told Harry. Maybe we could find something more than just a book.
He nodded and we took the way to my house.
When I opened the door to my apartment, I saw a body lying on the couch. I instantly realised who it was.
He opened his eyes when he heard us enter the house. When he saw Harry, his soft facial features hardened.
"Where have you been all night? I've called you so many times. I have been waiting for you." Liam shouted at me.
"I stayed at Harry's. I was really tired to walk all the way back here." I said tired of fighting.
"Why didn't you pick up your damn phone? Or call me back?" He said, calmer by then.
"I ran out of battery."
"That's not an excuse." His voice raising again.
He was pissed off but I didn't care, did I? No I didn't. I am not a child anyway to give him any details on where I was or with who I was with. He passed by me and pushed Harry with so much force causing him to fall.
He exited my house without looking back.
"Harry, are you okay?" I asked Harry running to his side.
"I'm fine." He said standing back on his feet.
"He is so rude. What is wrong with him anyway?" I asked him not really waiting for an answer.
"He was worried about you." Harry shrugged like it was so obvious.
Well I don't want Liam to worry about me. He is so rude and arrogant.
Anyway, we went to the room where that bookcase was. We had been looking for about an hour to find answers to nonexistent questions. How was I supposed to feel If what Harry had told me was true? I had to think that there was a reasonable explanation for all of this shit.
"It's been an hour and we haven't found anyithing important yet. I'm exhausted." I whined.
Harry placed the book on the table beside him and stood up from the chair he was sitting on. He got closer to the bookcase where I was standing. He was standing so close to me. His face near mine. He lifted his hand placing it on my cheek. He rubbed gently my cheekbone with his thumb.
"Be patient. We'll find something." His lips moving so slow. His hand so soft on my cheek.
I smiled up at him. I couldn't do anything else. I mean I couldn't find the words. I was so overwhelmed by his green eyes staring into mine. The gap between us started closing. Our eyes never leaving each other's. There was no gap between us anymore. Our lips connected. We were sharing a kiss, a goddamn kiss. It felt good. What was I doing? I knew it was wrong but I couldn't stop. I couldn't pull back.
He pushed his body further into mine causing me to step back a bit. My back came into contact with the bookcase causing a few books to fall. That's when I found the chance to break the kiss. I was looking into his eyes when I heard a noise behind me. I turned around as my eyes widened. A piece of the bookcase was pushed back letting us notice a small room behind it. We went closer noticing a book, placed on a small table in the middle of the room.
We entered the room. When we were both in, the bookcase started closing, locking us in there...
