Chapter 10

In the morning, when I opened my eyes, I felt a light breeze making me shiver.

I looked at the window and it was open once again.

At first, I felt worry creating inside of me but then I remembered the feeling of Liam's presence in my room the previous night.

A small smile created on my face and I got up to close the window.

I walked out of the room, worried but without knowing the reason why I was feeling like that.

I took a seat at the kitchen's table opposite from Alisa who was already eating breakfast.

"I made you waffles! I know how much you like them! Will you not eat?"

"No, I'm not that hungry." 

"Whatever." Thank god, she didn't push it further.

"Where has Logan gone?" 

"Kendall said he's gone to France. Why are you asking?"

"Okay. Listen! I know what you're gonna hear will make you freak out but yesterday I saw a wolf like those we had seen in the forest and he had Logan's eyes!" 

At that moment, she touched my forehead, checking if I had fever or something.

"I think you should stay home today! Just lay in bed and drink some tea!"

"Alisa! I saw him! I was talking to him and he was listening to me."

"Perfect! Now you started talking to animals! In what language did you speak to him?" Why did she always have to take everything as a joke?

"But I'm telling you the truth!" I defended myself.

"Stop, Kathie! Just stop! You're staying here today. I'm leaving now! Bye!"

"Whatever! You never listen anyways! Bye!" I was tired of trying.

Alisa walked out of the apartment, closing the door behind her.

She got on Kendall's car as he was waiting for her.

It was James there as well.

"Where's Kathie?" James asked her before even sayng 'hi'.

"I didn't let her come to college today 'cause stupidity got the best of her again." She giggled.

"Are those shadows again?" Kendall said, rolling his eyes.

"Worse! She said that she saw a wolf with Logan's eyes yesterday! Isn't it ridiculous?!" She laughed. At me.

As they heard that, James and Kendall looked at each other clearly worried.

"Why are you reacting like that? What's wrong?"

"Nothing's wrong! No need to worry!" James calmed her.

At that moment, a huge wolf jumped out of nowhere in front of the car causing Kendall to lose control of the car.

Alisa got out of the car irritated.

"Tell me right now what the fucking hell is wrong with you!" Alisa was beyond upset.

Right then, she saw the wolf, noticing his eyes, Logan's eyes.

The wolf looked at her before running off.

She was standing there, frozen.

Kendall got out of the car.

"We need to talk! Get in the car!" Kendall said, approaching her.

After they were both in the car, Kendall sped off going somewhere that nobody knew.

*At home*

I was home alone, sitting in my room really bored.

I decided to write down what had happened the last few days.

Dear diary,

Strange things happened the last few days.. I've tried so hard to talk to Alisa but she won't listen... Everyone thinks of me as a crazy girl who imagines such ridiculous and paranormal things.. I'm not a psycho.. Nobody believes me, though.. The other day, Alisa and I met some huge wolves.. One of them had Logan's eyes.. I'm pretty sure it was him.. The 'bad boys' have been behaving really weird lately.. I don't know why but yesterday I dreamt of Liam.. Since the day I saw him in the school's toilet with blood covering his face, I can't get him and the rest of his friends out of my mind.. Zayn had appeared in my room.. I touched him.. He was so cold and his eyes are changing colors all the time.. He told me to stop searching..but...

That's when I heard a noise coming from the kitchen.

I left my diary on the bed and went to see what it was.

It was nothing, though. Just then I heard another noise coming from my bedroom.

I got scared. I walked closer and entered the room.

I saw nothing. I sat on my bed and I kept writing on my diary.

After a few minutes, I put my diary aside and lifted my head but that wasn't such a wise move for me to do.

The moment I lifted my head, my eyes met Louis's ones.

He was standing in front of me with his hands crossed over his chest.

I jumped off of the bed. He almost gave me a heart attack...
