Chapter 15

Beck lunged at us. Not far behind him were Ian and Luke.

We tried to fight back but it was impossible, we were way too weak.

I got hit on my head. I felt blood running down the left side of my head.

When I realized that I had already lost too much blood, I fell down trying to catch my breath.

I couldn't breathe properly.

I saw Luke approaching me.

I closed my eyes, afraid of what was going to happen.

But when I tried to open them, I couldn't. I wasn't there anymore.

I lost my senses. My body was lying there on the floor.

I fainted and now I was so close to death.

Alisa was all alone there, face to face with three vampires, craving for her blood.

The three of them started getting closer to her slowly and painfully.

Ian attacked her, biting her on the neck.

Right at that moment, appeared Niall and Logan as a wolf.

They tried to save us.

Beck, Luke and Ian left humiliated.

Alisa and I had lost too much blood.

James and Kendall came to our apartment and took us to their fort where there was a werewolf, named Eric who took care of us.

While we were at the fort with James and Kendall, Niall and Logan gave a tough battle.

They started fighting with each other.

Logan hurt Niall really bad.

They couldn't not fight with each other as werewolves and vampires had been enemies for centuries.

When the night fell, James and Kendall took us home as we were feeling a lot better.

Alisa and I were alone at our apartment trying to realize what had just happened.

"My head is killing me!" I said, holding my head in my hands.

"Kathie, who was that guy earlier? Do you know him?" I see Alisa didn't lose time to solve the mystery.

"That was him that attacked me at the forest. I've no idea about the other two. That's why I arrived at home with scars and bruises."

"He tried to kill us! When I saw you falling down, my heart skipped a beat! Now I can see that we're in so much danger!"

"Did they hurt you?" I asked her a few seconds later.

"One of them bit me!"

"I have a feeling that we gotta go visit our neighbors!" I suggested.

"Visit our neighbors?! Are you crazy?! You know who lives next to us!"

"Niall helped Logan save us. But then Logan hit Niall really bad."

"What?!" Her eyes widened.

"After we got better, James told me everything. Niall is in a very bad condition."

"He helped Logan save us?!"

"Yes."

"Let's go! C'mon!" She grabbed my wrist, pulling out of the door.

A few seconds later, we were standing in front of the neighbors' door.

I was so anxious and afraid at the same time.

I still believed that Liam wanted to kill me after what I saw in his room.

Alisa knocked on the door gently.

I couldn't stay straight when I saw who opened the door. My hands were trembling and I could barely stand on my feet.

"What are you doing here?" Liam snapped at us.

"Is Niall here?" I found the courage to ask.

"Stop bothering us!" He shouted.

His face became fiercer and his eyes turned into a dark shade of red.

I was scared. I thought he was going to hurt me. I thought he would kill me.

However, Alisa didn't hesitate to insist.

"Tell us if he's okay! Please!" Alisa begged.

"Why do you care? You must not care about us!" 

"We're just asking you to tell us if he's okay! Is it that difficult to tell us?!" I fought back.

"He's in a terrible condition! It's that wolf's fault! I know it's one of your friends! He attacked Niall!"

"Your friends tried to kill us, as well!" I told him, pointing at him with my finger.

"Calm down, Kathie! Can you thank him for helping Logan save us?" Alisa asked him politely.

"I don't know!" He said emotionless.

"Yeah, right." I rolled my eyes at him.

"Can we see him?" Alisa begged once again. Why was she begging him anyway?

"No!" He snapped once more.

"Why?" She asked, hurt. Wait. Hurt? Why was she hurt?

"Because! You can't see him!"

"And why's that?" I snapped at him.

"Because I said so!" He said to me using the same tone I used seconds ago.

"No, I wanna see him!" Alisa yelled.

Alisa couldn't take it anymore.

She pushed Liam aside and got in the house looking for Niall's room.

I stayed there, alone with the person that wanted to kill me so bad, Liam...
