Kathie's POV.

"Perfect! How are we getting out of here now?" I wasn't as panicked as I had expected me to be.

"Don't worry about that. I think I found something. Come here a sec." Harry said without looking at me. His back facing me and he was so concentrated on what was in his hands.

I got closer to him. He was holding the book that was on the small table a few moments ago. I started wondering what he could have found in that book that was so important.

"There are some names in here. Do you recognize any of them?" He said as if reading my mind. He gave me the book.

"Yes. I know some of them from the past but they hated my family. They were kind of our enemies. I don't understand." I was confused. Why was there a book with our enemies' names? So complicated.

I placed the book back on the table. Harry was silent. He was making the whole situation even more awkward. I wandered in the small room hoping to find an escape. As I was walking I stepped on something.

"Harry! Look! There's a hatch here. Maybe we can find a way out.."

Harry came where I was standing, noticing the hatch himself. Hopefully we could get the hell out of there.

"But it's locked. Fuck!" I tried to open it but then I noticed the padlock.

Harry pulled the big chain breaking the lock. Okay yeah maybe I had forgotten how strong he was.

He opened it and we used a ladder to climb down. It was like a basement but it was way more creepy than how a basement is supposed to be.

"Look what you can find by reading a book. I can't believe that was under my house. It's disgusting." I looked around me getting more disgusted every second.

"It's a bit messy in here but look there is a door." He opened the door revealing a staircase. He walked up the stairs first as I was following him behind.

He opened another door when we reached the end of the stairs. We saw a huge house when we were out of that small staircase. It was really weird. I didn't know that house was even there. It was like we were transferred in another world, a parallel universe.

"We should go in, Harry." I suggested.

"We have nothing to lose." He nodded.

We looked around to find a way to get in that house. Luckily there was an old wooden door and it was our only chance to find out who lived in that house.

Harry got in first and I followed him. We tried to keep quiet as we were walking down a long and tiny corridor. I was behind Harry as I was walking slower when I heard someone cry.

The cries were coming from a dark room. I was pretty sure I had heard that voice again. It was too familiar. I walked closer to that room but Harry was about to keep walking. I grabbed his hand pulling him to where I was. The door was ajar. I looked inside and saw Alisa cry. I was about to burst in but Harry pulled me back in his chest.

He pointed with his finger to the other side of the room where Jane was.

"I told you, Kathie doesn't care about you. She doesn't love you. None of them loves you. Nobody looked for you and they won't. They were looking for Kathie, not you. You saw it yourself. You don't belong with them." Jane's words made my heart stop beating. How could she talk to Alisa like that? That bitch. I hated Jane.

"You're right. I'm ready to grow up. I want you to teach me how to be stronger and unbeatable. I want to be like you." I couldn't believe Alisa would say those things. That wasn't Alisa. Jane had done something to her. The Alisa that I knew would never think like that.

Jane walked out of the room and came closer to Harry and I.

"I knew you would come." She said smiling at me.

"How?"

"I'm a witch. Who do you think locked you in the bookcase?" A stupid grin on her face.

"You did all this?! Let us leave." I said dumbfounded. I should of expected it though.

"No way. Alisa take them to the dark room."

When Alisa came into view, I couldn't believe in my eyes. Her eyes were red and she had black circles under them. She was pale and she was dressed in black.

She took both Harry and me from there, obeying to Jane's orders.

*********

I was all alone in a dark room. I tried to move but my hands were tied behind my back. I couldn't feel my legs. I looked around me frightened. There was blood running down the walls. I was so scared and the fact that I was all alone, tied, in a room like that, was only making things worse.

Harry's POV.

I was alone. I had to find Kathie. What if something bad happened to her? I had to save her. I tried to stand up but I couldn't move at all. I felt like I was paralyzed. I heard someone walk into the room I was in. It was Jane.

"You know that I am strong enough to kill you. So, will you answer the question I've asked you?" Her eyes were concentrated on me.

"I'm not going to tell you anything about Kathie." I shouted.

"Well then I'll have to ask her myself." She said with that stupid grin of hers.

"No! Don't you dare hurt her!" I winced in pain as I felt like thousands of knives stabbing me in the heart.

"Why? Why do you care about Kathie?"

"I love her. I won't let you hurt her."

"I will kill her anyway."  When I heard these words, I wanted so bad to dig my teeth in her neck.

"Don't even try to go near her." I said losing all the strength I had left.

Kathie's POV.

I was trying so hard to untie my hands but it was impossible. I heard footsteps enter the room and a door close behind...
