Chapter 13

When the door opened widely, I saw Alisa's face, followed by Kendall's and James's ones.

As soon as my eyes met James's beautiful face with his dark red lips and calm look that his eyes had, I couldn't resist the feeling I had inside of me.

I ran into his arms and I hugged him with all my strength like I wouldn't be able to see him ever again.

His sweet scent calmed me down. I was about to say something but Alisa's voice stopped me.

"Kathie, we need to talk!" Alisa stated.

"Yeah, okay. I think we should go to my room." I agreed.

"Okay! You guys sit here, make yourself at home and we'll be back really soon." Alisa turned to Kendall and James.

"Alright, love!"

"We'll be waiting!"

Kathie: Okay!

The boys sat on the couch in the living room while Alisa and I went to my room.

*In my room*

"Well, I need to talk to you about something really important and it can't wait!" Alisa said.

"I think what I need to say is much more important!" I argued.

"Okay, then, I'm listening." Wow. Did she just give in? 

"The 'bad boys' of the school are...vampires!" I informed her.

"Now, my turn."

"So, now you believe me?!"

"Yes, I do! Because James, Carlos, Kendall and Logan are werewolves! That's why the wolf you've seen had Logan's eyes, I saw him, too. It was Logan!" 

"They're werewolves?!" So much information to deal with in one day.

"Yes and they want to protect us."

"From what?"

"From the vampires."

"You mean from.."

"Yes! From 'them'." She said, confirming my thoughts.

"Well, I have one more thing to tell you."

"What?" She nodded.

"Liam and probably Niall live in the adjacent apartment!"

"Really?! They live next to us?! What about the music?"

"That music we often hear is coming from their apartment, so yeah.."

"Alright! Listen, Kathie, I want to apologize." She said, sadly.

"May I hear the reason why?"

"I'm sorry for not believing you and for always pushing you away somehow."

"It's ok! Now you believe me, though!"

"Of course! Yeah, I believe you!"

After that conversation between me and Alisa, we both went in the living room and sat with James and Kendall.

We decided to watch a movie as the two boys were sleeping at our home that night.

I felt surprisingly really safe in James's arms after what I had witnessed.

It was really late so, James and I went to my room while Alisa and Kendall went to hers.

*In my room*

"So, you're werewolves." I said, thinking about the whole idea.

"Yes, we are." James answered.

"So, now you may turn into a wolf?"

"No. Don't worry! I do it only if I really need it. I can handle it, you don't need to be afraid!"

"It's not that easy, though."

"We're here to protect you!"

"You protect us 'cause we're humans or maybe it's because you might feel something about us?? But werewolves don't feel anything!" I whispered the last part but I'm sure he heard me.

"You're wrong! We do have feelings! Vampires don't!"

"Hmm!"

James lied in my bed while waiting for me to lay beside him.

I closed the window and lied next to him.

*In Alisa's room*

They were laying in bed, close to each other.

"Are you gonna sleep, now?" Alisa asked, as if she knew the answer.

 "Yes."

"Can you..?"

"Why couldn't I?" Kendall was surprised.

"I-I don't know!"

"I know about what you're thinking, babe! I'm also human, too! Never forget that! After all, wolves sleep, too."

"I feel a bit strange! I have to get used to that, I guess! I feel a bit uncomfortable."

"I know, baby! But, trust me, you had to know the truth!" He cooed.

"If you say so.." 

Alisa waited for Kendall to sleep first.

Kendall drifted off to sleep a bit later and Alisa, after closing the widow, she lied down again burying herself in Kendall's arms.

That night I didn't dream of Liam...
