Chapter 43

I looked at James and I knew he was ready to kill Harry. I was too afraid of their reactions. They hadn't believed what I said about Alisa back at that house. But I had Harry now, I wasn't all alone.

I stepped closer to them, getting between them and Harry. I was about to talk when I heard Harry's voice behind me.

"You have to believe her." Harry said coming into sight.

"We can't. It is her fault that I can't be with Alisa, now." Kendall said looking at Harry and then at me. Again. It was my fault again. I had to get used to that.

"You chose not to be with Alisa. It's not Kathie's fault. And if you really love Alisa, don't you want to make sure that she is not in danger?" Harry said. He was defending me. No one ever stood up for me.

"I don't because I know she's not in danger. She is with you, the vampires. And I know no one of you is going to hurt her because Niall loves her. Kathie just didn't know what she was talking about." Kendall answered. He was going to make me seem like I was crazy. Again.

"I know exactly what I am talking about. If you don't want to help then it's fine by me. But when I get to find the real Alisa, I'll tell her that you didn't even bother to look for her." I said threatening him. I was never the threatening one but I had to do it.

"Okay. Fine we'll help you. What are we going to do?" Kendall said giving in.

"I don't know yet. Thanks for your help, though." I said sitting on the bed.

They didn't say anything. The three of them left again. And I was left alone with Harry. It was too awkward but I was doing it for Alisa.

"I am going to get back there with the others. I don't want them to realise that I am here. I heard them talk about getting rid of you. And you know what I mean by saying 'getting rid of you' right?" He said looking the other way. I knew he didn't want me to know it but he knew he had to tell me.

"Yeah I know. Thank you so much for helping me and for believing in me." I said. I tried to turn this conversation in a happier subject.

"It's okay. You know I would never hurt you, don't you?" He looked at me.

"Of course I know that, Harry. I really trust you. Anyway, you should get going, now. I mean the others are already upset with me. I don't want to make them even angrier than they already are." I smiled slightly. I knew I sounded kind of rude but Kendall was way too angry for Harry to stay with me.

"Yes, you're right. The rest of the vampires and 'Alisa' don't need to know about this. So, let's just pretend that I am not in your side, okay? I really trust you with this." He said with a fading smile.

"Don't worry about it. I'll tell the others, too. Thanks again." I wanted to hug him and tell him how great he was. He was great. He was beautiful, caring, adorable, kind, he had perfect eyes, lips, body, hair, nose, chin and a perfect heart.

"It's okay, Kathie. I have to go now, though." I hugged him. I couldn't resist anymore. It took a great amount of seconds to hug back but he eventually did.

"You could stay but-.."

"Yeah I know, the werewolves hate my guts and don't want me here. I get it, Kathie. Well, I will see you later." He said opening the door.

"Bye, Harry." I smiled.

"Bye. For now." He said closing the door behind him. I was lucky to have one of the vampires in my side. I knew Harry really trusted me and believed me. He would never hurt me.

Liam's POV.

I woke up from my nap. I had dream about her. It was the first time in centuries that I had had a dream. I wouldn't change it for the world. I wouldn't change a thing about her. She was perfect. Kathie is perfect and I really wish she was mine.

I was just laying on my bed and thinking about her. I was wondering where she could probably be and what she could be doing. I really hoped she would just call me and tell me that she needed and loved me. I wanted to hear her say that she loved me again. I was too selfish, I knew that. It was too hard for her to confess her feelings for me but I still let her go. I didn't fight for her. I didn't try to make her see my endless love for her and that's something I was going to beat myself up for.

I just wanted her to be all mine, not James's or Harry's. Harry was in love with her but he wasn't going to do anything. I was pretty sure he wasn't going to take her away from me.

My thoughts were interrupted by the door slaming. And then I heard Harry's voice talk to someone. It was him that had left the house earlier. I left my room going to Harry's. He was standing there, clearly surprised to see me.

"Where were you?" I already knew the answer but I wanted to hear him say that he was with Kathie.

"I went to see Kathie."

"How is she?" At least he had to tell me about her.

"She is okay. She is better off without you." He said. He wanted me to break his cute little face.

"I know you love her, Harry but you don't have to be a jerk. I love her, too but the difference is that she loves me back." I would kill him with kindness If what I was doing was being kind. Think not.

"Okay, yeah. In your dreams, Payne. I will get her to love me eventually. She hates you." Was that a smile I could see on his stupid face? Think yes.

"Well, we'll see that, Styles. Just keep your hands off of her. She is so out of your league. Oh and she's mine, she just doesn't know it yet." I said turning around and leaving, making sure to shut the door extra hard. If war was what he wanted then, it was so on. I would do anything for Kathie and I could easily prove it.

If fucking Styles didn't want to tell me about Kathie then, I had to find out how and where she was on my own...
