The sun had risen up and the four of us were ready to deal with another day at college but it was going to be a bit different this time.
When I woke up, I saw that the window was closed.
While eating breakfast, none of us actually ate or said something.
Silence was all over the house.
After getting ready, we got in James's car, making our way to college.
*In the car
"We won't come to school with you." Kendall said gently.
"Why? Where are you gonna go?"
"We'll go home to wear something warm because it's very likely that we ch-..." James started saying.
"Don't! Just don't say it! Anyway, it's a shiny day today.." But I stopped him.
"Yes but it's a cold one, too."
"Will you come later to school?"
"It's not up to us."
Right then, Kendall stopped the car as we were already in front of the building.
Alisa and I got in the school as James and Kendall sped off.
"They didn't come today." Alisa informed me as if I didn't know.
"Yeah I know! We talked about it seconds ago." I said sarcastically.
No I don't mean Kendall and James, genius! I mean the other side of the supernatural world!" Of course. I forgot about them.
"Oh I get it now! You mean the vampires!"
"Hey! Calm down a bit! It's not necessary for everyone to know!" She said while looking around us to see if anyone noticed.
"Okay! Yeah, maybe that was a bit louder than it should've been. Anyway, as I said before it's a shiny day today."
"So what?!"
"That's why they didn't come today."
"How could you possibly know?"
"I've searched it on the internet. Vampires don't go out on shiny days! They hate the sun!" I said proudly.
We both knew that it was gonna be a very long day without our boys.
The time had passed and it was already lunch time.
I met Alisa as she was waiting for me to have lunch together.
We both took a seat at a table.
While I was eating, my eyes fell on the girl that was with Liam, whose face was covered with blood, in the toilet a few days ago.
I got closer to her and told her to follow me.
Alisa stood up and followed us, too.
We went to the toilet.
*In the toilet*
"Well! We want you to answer to some questions that we're gonna ask you and then you're free to go." I stated coldly.
"Do I know you?" The girl asked me. How could she not remember me?
"No, you don't! We're the ones who ask the questions here! You only have to answer to them." Alisa told her.
"What had happened with Liam here a few days ago? His face was covered with blood and you were laying on the floor, screaming." I said, recalling the memory in my head.
"What had he done to you?" Alisa added.
"What are you talking about?! Nothing had happened!" The girl said, smiling once again.
"Where do you know Liam from?" Why would I ask this. Out of all questions, I chose that one?
"We were together 'till today! This morning he texted me, saying he's breaking up with me."
"Did he tell you why?"
"He didn't! What do you want from me?"
"Nothing else! You can go now." I dismissed her.
She left the toilet leaving Alisa and me, sinking in our thoughts about what had just happened.
After school was over, we headed back home.
When we opened the door to our appartment, we saw that guy from the forest, named Beck, standing in the middle of our living room.
"Who are you?!" Alisa questioned.
"What are you doing here?!" I spoke up.
"I'm here to kill you but don't worry it won't take long! It won't hurt, I promise!" Beck said with a huge grin on his face.
"No, you wouldn't do that!" I dared him.
"Why not?!" He fired back.
"Because our boyfri-.."
"Your boyfriends are nothing in comparison with the vampires!"
"Yes but they're two and you're all alone!"
"Who told you so?! I didn't come here alone! Please, meet my friends.." He said, smiling devilishly, pointing behind me.
I turned around and saw two guys, strong and muscular just like Beck.
They were vampires.
"Ian and Luke will help me kill you quicker without anybody knowing! Get ready to say goodbye to your miserable life!"
What was going to happen next was really an unexpected surprise...
