I'm revisiting childhood trauma!
I watched Coraline once as a child.
Keyword: Once.
It scared the crap out of me. I love all the films like it; Nightmare Before Christmas and stuff like that.
But the idea that someone's Alternative Universe mother wants to take your eyes out, virtually killing you, and replacing them with buttons scared me to my shits end. Again, you won't see much cursing here, but this movie....THIS MOVIE!
In the spirit of Halloween, I am watching that movie.
Also, did anyone analyze the beginning? The Edward Scissor Hands wannabe virtually killed the little girl and made Coraline! That's just a step darker than most of Neil Gaimans books.
