Today, I met a legend. Me and my friends were sitting at a table at lunch today. This guy, one of the coaches, knows my friend. He came over and was talking to us. He said something about how the six graders gave him a bunch of reese's cups. I jokingly said, "Your gonna share with us right?" He said, "Yeah." And walked away, towards the old computer lab.
Me and my friends looked at each other and went, "He's not serious?" I was completely joking when I said that to him.
A couple minutes later, he comes back, hands empty. I look and my friends, then back at him and mutter "Please don't come over here,..." He walks toward us, reaches into one of his pockets and pulls out a handful of reese's cups, and puts them in my open lunch box. Me and my friends crack up laughing. Me and my one friend started laughing so hard we were crying. We thanked him so much. We honestly didn't think he was going to deliver.
I was completely joking when I said that. He didn't have to share with us, but he did. Unfortunately, I dont know his name, not that I was going to put it in here.
As we headed back to class, I looked at him and word for word said, "You are a legend, good sir." He chuckled.
I have never met such a nice guy before. So, raise a glass to this amazing guy!!!!
