"I object!" the echo of Lauren's voice took over the classroom. These raspy words made an appearance once again, taking control of the air.

It was the debate club, the two groups were parted by a big gap in the middle of the room, making the students sit next to each other in two visible teams.

"If same-sex marriage is what our God wants, it wouldn't be a sin." she explained.

The professor gave her a promising look to which she smiled to herself with confidence.

And dammit, she really did nail it once again.

-

"Camila, how come you didn't participate today?" the professor asked. His handsome grin and unique stance made him stand out more than other teachers. The truth is, he was the youngest. Making it a stereotype in school to have a crush on him even if you really don't.

Well, maybe I didn't participate because I happen to have a crush on a girl. Or because I'm pansexual. Or because homophobia is pure bullshit of a debate topic.

I inhale quickly, turning my full attention to the conversation.

"Um..." my mouth hurries up with words, too fast for my brain to function at first. Shit, that's not even an actual question. How does he expect me to answer that if it's impossible.

Luckily, someone appeared by his desk, now I have a chance to walk away.

"Sir, I finished my paper."

I turn my head, and there I see a black haired girl holding out a paper. Oh. It was that girl... Lauren Jauregui.

I had the biggest urge to tell her off, how dare she just interrupt like that? But as always, I didn't say anything.

"Woah there, that was homework!" he took the paper and skipped his eyes trough it. "You're really on fire today, Jauregui."

He smirked, raising one of his eyebrows.

"Well, well... It's all because of the amazing new teacher." her arms crossed below her chest, defining the lines of her bra visible from her loose red blouse.

Her face was full of flawless makeup, her skin was pale and had zero blemishes.

I don't even want to know what's her bill for all that foundation.

Holy shit! Can she get any more annoying?!

I gave her a side look, turning back to the professor.

"Oh, and Camila, better luck next time." he added quickly. I left the classroom not being bothered if they continued their cringy conversation.

Better luck next time, huh?

I swear Lana is gonna go crazy over this.

My converse squeaked as I sat on the stairs on the outside, waiting for my bus. I took out my phone making sure no one could see it.
