You settled into your new job quickly, with more support from Namjoon then you had expected. You were both still heart broken that summer would nearly be over by the time you saw each other again...and summer hadn't even started yet. But you both understood what needed to be done. He reassured you often that once this tour was out of the way he would be in Seoul consistently for a while. His schedule would still be crazy but at least you'd still be able to see him regularly. Thoughts of whether this was the right thing still appeared in your head often but you squashed them down, you loved each other and what more did you really need?

Before either of you knew it March was gone and April was also nearly over. The days were being crossed from your calendar quicker then either of you expected.

Soon your birthday arrived and mixed feelings washed over you. Your birthday was usually spent with Namjoon, a day he always made sure was free so you could spend it together. You knew that wasn't going to be possible this year. You had planned on treating yourself to a nice home cooked meal and a movie night.

Your phone rang promptly at 2pm, the time Namjoon had agreed to call you.

'Happy Birthday!!!' He shouted down the phone as soon as you answered.

You laughed at his enthusiasm and although you had thought it impossible, began to miss him even more.

'Is my beautiful birthday girl ready for her present?' He asked, still unable to hide the excited twang from his voice.

'Are you waiting outside my front door?' You asked, teasingly.

'No, but something else is...go look!' You could almost hear him anxiously pacing the floor on the other end of the phone.

'Okay,' You laughed and strode excitedly towards the door. You flung it open and sat on your door step was a beautiful bouquet of flowers with a small black box and brown envelope sticking out from between the stems. 'Wow Namjoon, their beautiful. Thank you.' You picked them up and placed them on the kitchen counter, closing the door behind you.

'Only the best for my girl,' His words made you a little emotional, thinking of the last time he had sent you flowers and uttered the exact same words. A day you never really wanted to think about again. 'Open the box first!'

'Okay, okay, what's got you so excited?' You asked, holding the phone between your shoulder and cheeks as you opened the box.

'It's your birthday, of course I'm excited.' He laughed. You pulled open the lid of the box as he spoke and gasped at the beautiful necklace that lay inside it. You stroked it with your fingers and grinned widely. He knew your taste exactly.

'It's beautiful, thank you Namjoon.' You chocked slightly on your words, touched by his present.

'Wait wait, the best is yet to come.'

'What could be better then that?' You asked, picking up the brown envelope.

'You'll see, open the envelope, quick before I pass out from excitement!' You opened it without another word and pulled out its contents. You were holding the ticket that he had been holding all those weeks ago. The ticket that told you he was so near, the ticket that meant you were going to be able to see him in a few hours. You let out a little scream and he laughed on the other end again.

'Namjoon...you're here?' Words almost failing you due to your shock.

'Not yet, I'm at the airport in the next city over. We will be there just for the concert and that's it. I won't be able to see you properly, but you'll still come right?' His voice suddenly full of anxiety where excitement had been, he was clearly nervous about this grand gesture.

'I'll be there Namjoon, of course I will.' You felt suddenly embarrassed that you didn't even know they were meant to be doing a concert in your town. However you did try and keep out of their band life as much as possible, the occasional search for YouTube videos was the only involvement you had, apart from of course the many songs you had on your iPod.

'Good. Good, I can't wait to see you. You'll be right at the front.'

'Okay, I should probably get ready.' Your words were still laced with shock. Was this really happening?

'Yeah, wear the necklace okay? I love you, see you soon.'

'Okay, I love you.' You placed your phone down next to your flowers and stared down at the ticket you were still clutching in your hand. He was going to be here, in your town in just a few hours. You were going to see him in the flesh. It didn't matter that hundreds of other people were going to see him too, it was the two of you that mattered. Your heart fluttered and a burst of excitement exploded in your chest. You let out a little squeak like an excited school girl and hugged the ticket to your chest.

For the first time in months the man you loved was going to be stood right in front of you.
