You clutched your hand luggage tightly to you chest as you took your seat on the plane. You sqooze your eyes shut as tight as you could in the hope that somehow sleep would over take you before the aircraft set off.

'Y/N?' Namjoon's voice made your eyes snap open. He was sat next to you, his face close to yours, concern lay in his gaze. 'You okay?'

You nodded quickly as form of reply and then shut your eyes again, putting your head down and pressing your forehead against your bag.

'Hmm...I forgot you don't like flying.' He said under his breath and placed a reassuring hand on your back. He briefly wondered what your flight home from Korea had been like last year. You had been on your own and no doubt terrified. He shook the thought, that was all over now. 'It's okay Y/N. Once we're in the air the worst part is over.' He bent over you and secured your seatbelt in place for you before doing his own and placing his hand back on your back. He rubbed circles with his thumb over your shoulder blades and you had to admit that it was helping to fight off the waves of nausea that kept crashing over you. 'You'll get used to it right? I mean we'll be flying a lot while we're on tour. That's okay isn't it?'

'I'll get over it.' You mumbled into your bag and Namjoon smiled his dimpled smile.

'Hey, hold my hand. It'll help.' He whispered close to your ear. He took his hand from your back and held it out in front of you. You grabbed it quickly with both of your hands and pulled the tangled mess of fingers to your face, discarding your bag on the empty seat next to you somewhere in the process.

Namjoon placed his chin in his free hand and his elbow on the arm rest of his seat. He looked away from you, trying for a second to regulate his heart beat. You being this cute and vulnerable was effecting him and making him fall in love with you just a little deeper.

As he looked away he caught a glimpse of Jin's grin on the other side of the plane isle. He blushed deeply at being caught in the mist of his thoughts and quickly turned his head to look straight ahead. He could still feels Jin's eyes on him, he knew they would be for a while, that couldn't be helped. Seeing him like that would no doubt be the highlight of Jin's day.

'Namjoon?' You whispered weakly into the back of his hand.

'Hmmm...' He hummed and looked back in your direction, his heart rate still far from under control.

'Is it over yet?' You sounded on the verge of tears.

'No babe. Not yet. I'll tell you when okay? Just hold my hand until then.' Namjoon couldn't help but release a small laugh at your question. After all, the plane hadn't even moved to the runway yet.

He felt you tighten your grip on his hand. He sighed and lent forward to retrieve his phone and headphones from his bag. With great difficulty, with the use of only one hand, he untangled the headphones and plugged them into his phone. He selected a song that he knew was one of your favourites and always had a calming effect on you, 2!3!. He placed the headphones over your ears, pressed play and simultaneously felt you relax next to him.

'Thank you.' You whispered and gently kissed the back of his hand. He ruffled your hair affectionately and sat back comfortably in his seat. He closed his eyes and lent his head back. As much as he should be used to it by now, flying wasn't his favourite thing either.

-----

Soon the flight was over and for that you were extremely glad.

You walked a couple of paces behind Jin and Namjoon as you walked though the airport, not wanting to be seen to be with them. Going public was far from yours and Namjoon's minds right now. If anyone did notice you were simply the journalist who would be following them around for a while. You hoped you wouldn't get questioned though, you weren't the best liar.

The three of you flagged a taxi and made your way to the hotel.

'Oh, Y/N! I forgot to tell you!' Jin suddenly said, leaning round from the front seat of the car as it drove. 'I had your stuff shipped to the dorm back home. I assumed you'd be staying with us for a while when we get back? Is that okay?'

'Yeah Jin, that's perfect, thank you. I've got enough outfits to last me the rest of the tour in here.' You said patting your hand luggage that lay between your feet.

'Damn, I wondered why that thing was so big.' Namjoon said jokingly.

'Shush!' You scolded and lightly hit him on the arm with a laugh.

You felt lighter now that you had landed. Your old life was far away and you were speeding towards a new one and that had lit excitement in your heart. Excitement you hadn't felt for a long time.

-----

You all headed straight up to the hotel room as you arrived. Namjoon carrying your bag like a true gentleman, an action that made you smile widely.

As you reached your room you heard footsteps and voices from inside. You looked up at Namjoon.

'I'd prepare yourself, they'll be excited to see you.' He said.

'I know, it's okay.' You said, smiling wider at the idea of seeing the others again.

Namjoon pushed the door open and you took a step inside.

'Y/N!!!!!' You couldn't distinguish one voice from another as they all shouted your name and pounced on you right there in the doorway.

'Hey guys,' You said as loud as you could as the 5 of then squashed you into the best hug of your life.

'Woah! Let her breath guys.' Namjoon scolded with a soft tone to his voice.

They all let go at their leaders command and took a step back. Each one taking a few seconds to take you in and smile widely at you.

You couldn't stop the tears that pricked at the corners of your eyes as you looked at all 7 of them together.

Finally after so long you felt at home. You were right where you were supposed to be. The feeling of a new spring day washed over you and you finally knew that the dark winter of the past few months was over for good.

The End.
