School was normal enough, there wasn't much of a disturbance, everyone seems to be getting along with the transfers... everyone, being Tsuna and his family. Except Hibari. Although, that isn't much of a surprise.
Like that, the days passed by.,
But because this is a great chance for filler--- filler:
On the second day of the week, after the transferees had come, Inoue was back to staying with Hibari. He was fairly 'grossed out'? -Repulsed by the idea of her brother taking care of her, remembering the time he visited her house for the first time. Her family was way too loud, completely unlike Inoue herself.
Flashback~~
It had been around five months since they vaguely 'sealed the deal' and began dating. There wasn't such thing as a monthly anniversary or anything in either's dictionary, so there were no celebrations or whatever. Not even valentines, though she baked a chocolate cake or pudding.
The day was fairly slow going, he was just doing paperwork and Inoue was doing homework nervously. He wasn't sure why she was nervous, but didn't mind it.
"Hi-Hibari-san?" She uttered, trying to occupy herself with the papers and textbooks.
"Hn?"
"Um... My family.. kind of... they want to meet you..." She whispered, any other conversation she'd be fine, but she knew her family, and she knew Hibari. It wasn't going to go well at all.
"Why?" Was it really necessary to know? Because she didn't know the answer.
"I'm not sure, I've never had a......... before so..." She couldn't say it. She was far too flustered and it only amused Hibari as he watched her struggle.
"Fine." Watching her absolute shock and dread was even more amusing, "You seem like you don't want me to."
'I don't, truthfully!' She screamed in her mind, but out loud, "O-Of course I do!"
She'd never been so nervous before.
As if the day called for it, on the way back to her house, Hibari thought it'd be fitting to hold her hand, an act that he'd never voluntarily initiated before now. She was probably going to die of heart failure before they even got to her front door. It wasn't that shocking, but his fingers were really strong feeling, and his hands were a nice kind of rough, memories of all his battles carved into his callous hold. Yeah, Inoue didn't like a soft frail hold. This one was perfect for her.
After walking for around twenty minutes, sharing small talk, they reached a simple looking family home, two floors and western styled. The front garden was well tamed and the house itself didn't look dirty. I wonder why-?
Inoue couldn't help but admire her work.
Sighing, she knocked on the door, waiting but five seconds before it was slammed open and a cheerful blonde woman popped out with the biggest smile on her face. As much as Inoue tried to tell her that Hibari was someone that preferred peace and quiet as well as strict discipline... Nope.
"Good afternoon Mai's boyfriend!~ Aren't you a hottie!? You've outdone yourself Mai! Yukihiro! Get down here! Mai's brought home a real ikemen!" Inoue would have face palmed, but the tense grip on her hand prevented her from doing so. She was proud of him for not knocking her mother out.
"I'm really sorry Hibari-san..." She muttered, not getting a reply.
Thankfully, when her brother came down, "Hello, I'm Inoue Yukihiro." He plainly introduced himself before dragging their gushing mother to the kitchen, where he began telling her not to interrupt him or something. Taking the rare moment of peace, Inoue hurried up to her room.
It was fairly plain. Cream walls, a desk, a laptop, a few pillows, no a lot of pillows, blue sheets, a fluffy white rug and wooden flooring. She immediately went into the dogeza position. "This really was a bad idea..!"
"Your mother is too loud." Yes! She was so aware of that!
She sat up, a regretful expression on her face, "She was really desperate to invite you around... I ended up giving in."
"That's why you're hopeless." He sat down leaning against her bed, as if he didn't just blatantly insult her. Well, she didn't see it that way. She sat beside him, holding her knees to her chest and trying to ignore the hand he placed on her side, failing miserably.
"But, the weak get protected by the strong. Because it's like that, I can't give you up." She smiled, unaware of her own words.
"Hmm?" She saw him smirking and wasn't sure why until she repeated her last sentence in her head. Then she was blushing redder than a strawberry. She wasn't going to take it back though, because in either case she was being truthful.
"It may be cowardly to hide behind the strong, but I like it that way. I like watching you fight, the sense of being unbeatable, I don't want that to change." She tried to elaborate in an attempt to brush her previous words behind, it didn't work obviously. He'd pulled her even closer than before, the hand on her waist tightening; her knees dropped slightly and her hands dropped down onto her lap, no need for support anymore as she was practically leaning on Hibari now.
He grabbed her chin and forced her to look at him, his face was close enough now, that no matter what, her eyes would be drawn to him anyway, "Since you're saying all that, even if another weak animal comes along, my eyes will only be on you." She felt her heart race, it was an indescribable feeling, but it was definitely one mixed with ecstasy. She never knew he could say something considered as romantic.
Her heart was so jittery from his last statement, that it barely had time to function when he'd suddenly began to kiss her, it was a surprise, how gentle he was. She began to wonder which one she liked more, his passionate ones or gentle ones.
The atmosphere, everything was perfect...
Until, "GYAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!" Her brother's voice boomed out from next door. She could literally feel Hibari's patience snapping. He stood, walked out the door, she heard some clanging sounds and exclamations of pain, before he came back in with a tray of tea.
She knelt up to take the tray, letting it down on the table before looking up at Hibari.
"I'm sorr-" She wasn't able to finish, he'd kneeled down and taken her lips once more. Did he like kissing her so much? He seems agitated every time they're interrupted.
She wasn't aware of her mother spying and taking pictures of them though. Sure the door was open, but...
Did she even know the word privacy!?
