Katekyou Hitman Reborn! - The Fate of Ai {Hibari Kyoya X OC}

After not so discreetly drowning her ice cream in tabasco and enjoying what was left of it - it was more like a pool of pure tabasco than ice cream - they wandered around. And the first ride they went on was, to no one's surprise, the carousel. 

Hibari sat boredly in the carriage with Mai being sat on his lap, her payment for dragging him on there. In reality she asked and he just went along. She didn't have the mental or physical strength to drag Hibari, or anyone for that matter, anywhere.  She wasn't as assertive as Hibari but she'd gotten a little better at accepting his advances and actually doing stuff herself, but her shyness always returned in the end. 

At least she wasn't fidgety like before, she learned to just let nothing bother her. Except actual things that should bother her of course. 

"Why do you want to waste time on this stupid ride?" Hibari asked obviously not understanding the entertainment that came along with spinning around and bobbing up and down at a slow pace. 

"It's relaxing... we can do something you want to do next?" She was not blushing, she was used to being touched and hugged by Hibari. She liked being touched by him. She wasn't completely red in the face and didn't stutter either. She was calmer than a cucumber, absolutely unconcerned. 

"I doubt you would let me." She'd admit she was flushed completely red by that comment. She didn't squeal when he bit her shoulder, that was a mouse. 

"N-Not that! I mean rides- i-in the park! Not... Not me!" He really loved it when she was flustered. She was the cutest in that nervous, jittery state. Red in the face and absolutely innocent... Ah, he wanted to stain her already.

He sighed, holding back his feelings was pretty easy but recently he'd been getting impatient. How annoying. 

Well he just had to wait another month or so, when they both get accepted into the same university.

Somewhere along the line, Tsuna and his group had gotten on the ride without knowing Hibari and Mai were there, and truthfully the reactions were hilarious. Tsuna almost fell off. The noise got too much and Hibari literally jumped off with Mai in his arms. For some peculiar reason this seemed to all be normal to her. 

Next was the teacups. It was a more 'teenage' teacups ride since it was faster and bumpier. The spinning should have been normal, but when it comes to Vongola...

Even at the slightest strength Hibari put in, the cup would whirl around at a crazy speed. Mai almost fell out if not for Hibari catching her - he was strangely unaffected by the vicious spinning. So Mai was clinging onto him for dear life the entire ride and not enjoying it a single bit. 

Tsuna felt exactly the same. His screams could probably be heard across the entire theme park. As barren as it was. There were still a couple people walking around but they strategically avoided the suspicious group; good instincts they have. 

Hibari didn't mind Mai clinging to him; obviously, since he spun it that fast on purpose. 

Next up was the lazy river, a perfect ride for someone as chilled out as Hibari. Except when certain subjects are involved, mainly discipline and fighting in general. 

Tsuna and the others were on the float behind them but by some bad luck got caught on a rock or something and had to wait for rescue. 

Mai and Hibari were just sat next to each other enjoying the somewhat bumpy waving of the donut shaped 'boat'. 

Hibari, after the first minute of the ride, said it was boring and starting hugging Mai. Because that's entertainment to him apparently. While Mai was actually enjoying it - the water based rides being her favourites because they were more tranquil than most. 

There was nice music in the background as well. Overall it was a really enjoyable ride.

Until the mechanics stopped functioning, the conveyor belts halted, the slow current stopped, and now they were just bobbing around. Worse of all they'd just entered a dimly lit cave. It was dark and quiet and extremely terrifying - for Mai at least. Hibari was unaffected while Mai shivered in his arms. 

He didn't get why she was affected by this and not being in pitch black when at home. Was there a difference? Other than the melodic splashing of water dropping from the ceiling of the tunnel. 

She jumped every time she heard them drop into the water. The sudden timid waters beneath them wasn't very reassuring either, at least they weren't raging though. Still, it was too quiet. 

When she jumped again for the umpteenth time, Hibari turned her towards him with the arm he'd rested around her shoulders. Luckily there was some light otherwise he wouldn't have been able to see her face let alone kiss her. 

It worked as expected, she stopped twitching at every little thing since she was now suffocating. Her lung capacity is not that of a monster's like Hibari's, therefore a straight three minutes is practically torture. Not to say he hasn't given her longer ones; she swore she was going to die on that four minute one. It was almost five but she tapped out - being she kicked him. 

He didn't stop kissing her though, even when the low rumble of the conveyor and the sloshing of water moving could be heard he kept her affixed to himself. 

There were longer breaks, a little thirty second small talk then back to kissing for around the same amount of time, maybe less, and then a little longer talk. Anyway, it always lead to giving Hibari a reason to kiss her in the end. Not that she minded, excluding being starved of air. She actually initiated some. If that isn't character development I don't know what you want from me. 

Hibari to kiss her less? I know, I should try that.

When they got off the ride, surprise surprise, there were pictures. You know that little hidden camera that captures your 'fun time' on the ride. Usually you look like a complete moron, yeah, they had one. It wasn't exactly clear but it was obvious that something was going down. 

From the angle all you could see was Hibari leaning over to where Mai would've been - her body was completely covered up save her hands around his neck. To any adult or teenager they were definitely kissing. If her arms weren't there Hibari would look really strange - because Mai couldn't be seen at all.

When Tsuna and the others got off and saw the picture, Gokudera was blushing like the cute virgin he was, Yamamoto was laughing and talking casually about it with Ryohei, who added in a couple 'extremes' here and there, Tsuna almost fainted.

They saw Hibari as some kind of bloodthirsty savage so it would be a little shocking. 

Even if they were already well aware of the intimacy he displayed with her.

Hi there. I accidentally keep starting new stories with no plan whatsoever on plot or characters but just because I wanna write fluff on Mukuro and Hibari. Ah~... I don't like oneshots most of the time though since they always leave me with a feeling of wanting more... 

Although considering this has over 60 chapters it's a bit much. What's this one? 48? Tbh I really regretted labelling them in Italian because it took too long to figure out the numbers and before I knew it - bam I'd learnt numbers in Italian... 

Ughhhhh i wanna write for those two more but i have no inspiration stillllll

but enjoy this fully edited chapter free from gross grammar probably. Did I check for spelling mistakes? I sure didn't.
