It was manic, to say the least. They went back to base, got attacked and almost killed, ran away to some realtors, got attacked and almost killed, talked for a bit at the realtors, got attacked and almost killed, oh but Hibari took out one of them -yay-, but now they were running away to a forest for some reason, Inoue's brain was far too frazzled to function.

It was too much of a blur, the sounds of battle were almost deafening but terrifying. There were shouts and large explosions, it was hard to just sit still while they fought for their and Uni's lives. Inoue wasn't as idiotic as to rush in there just to become a burden, but a few minutes after Tsuna entered the battle...

Uni began floating over there in a large orange sphere made from flames; no one knew why she was being dragged over there, and the sphere wasn't breaking even after being attacked by the few combatants there.

Inoue mainly stuck with Kyoko and Haru as they made their way over to the battle. Fuuta and Reborn were already way ahead of them, the others were trailing behind slowly with the injured.

When they reached the battle, Tsuna was in a bad position and the people around the outside of the barrier were all injured and tired too. As much as she wanted to find Hibari, the concern for Tsuna, who was being held down by Byakuran, was higher.

Inoue didn't know if she screamed when Tsuna collapsed, she could hear Kyoko and Haru screaming, Gokudera and Yamamoto were shouting, everyone else was fairly shook too. They all thought he was dead, seeing that white dragon thing pierce his heart, it'd be impossible for him to be alive.

But he spluttered. Inoue's heart jumped, she's sure everyone elses did too, he choked and sat up, grabbing a ring on his chest that took the blow. She didn't know whether to cry or not.

Although the plan was to watch the battle, she'd spied Hibari in the corner of her eye, leaning against a tree and watching the fight with some interest. The distance was a little large to judge whether or not he was uninjured, but he didn't seem to have lost any limbs. She muttered a quick 'see you' to Kyoko and Haru, who were on the verge of tears, they were a little out of it but they turned and acknowledged where she was going.

Inoue couldn't help but be a little thankful that he wasn't out in the middle of the field, instead in the forest.

"Hi-Hibari!" She called, worry lacing her quiet voice, it was difficult not to trip up, she did anyway, but he seemed fairly surprised to see her.

When she reached him, she immediately looked him over for any serious injuries, he didn't seem to have any, except a lot of cuts here and there that were bleeding, although he probably didn't care about those. Without realising it, she let out a sigh of relief, her heart began to calm down and beat steadily again, all of this danger and drama was a little much...

Hibari was about to say something, but was cut off before he could open his mouth, his ring began to heat up and a flame lit without his doing it.

A man with blonde hair appeared in a hologram-esque way, but it was more of an image the flames were making; his appearance was uncanny, he was like a blonde Hibari. His short words were as Hibari as they get too.

But he disappeared shortly afterwards, Inoue wasn't really paying attention, but, she swore something happened inside the barrier with Tsuna. Then all of a sudden, flames burst out from all of the guardians rings and after dissipating, their forms changed from the plain engraved ring to a shining silver one with a large jewel coloured with the flame of the guardian wielding it, in Hibari's case, it was purple. She saw a little banner reading 'Vongola' and a cloud symbol etched into the gem. It was far more impressive than the other one.

She didn't realise she'd grabbed his hand to look, it wasn't all that important right now either.

"Beautiful..." She muttered, running a finger across the new gem. Hibari grabbed the hand holding his and turned to look at the battle, so she followed suit.

It was a little much at times, but from the adrenaline, she wasn't too bothered by the blood. The only scary thing was what Byakuran had said.

Uni was truly planning to die for the Arcobaleno.

She barely registered Hibari's grip on her hand tightening, an attempt to reassure her perhaps, she wasn't used to seeing friends die though. It was something she'd rather not get used to actually. But, this time, she knew that she couldn't interfere, she was powerless in more ways than one. It wasn't impossible for her to grow strong, but she wasn't that kind of person.

Sometimes you just had to live with it.

She ignored the shouts of protest from the others, she felt the same way, but she wanted to respect Uni's will, as much as she hated to.

Someone mentioned breaking the barrier and getting Uni out of there, she recalls Dino agreeing and going on to attack the barrier. Hibari let go of her and went to hammer at the barrier too.

At this point, she could only watch.

She could only cry as Uni and that Gamma person vanished, leaving only the pacifiers and their clothes behind. Absentmindedly watch as Tsuna defeated Byakuran, be pulled into someone's arms, Hibari's probably. Inoue was surprised that her tears weren't relentless, they dried shortly after starting, now only regret held her against Hibari's chest.

A smile made it's way onto her face, however, when the babies appeared from the pacifiers full of spunk and holding the last wishes of Uni with them. It was a day to be celebrated, Byakuran was gone, the Arcobaleno were back, but it was also a day to mourn.

Inoue just couldn't sort her feelings out.

She followed the group from the past back to the circular device thing and the smiles of the Arcobaleno, the loud shouts of farewell, they were the last thing she remembered from the future as white overtook her vision.
